Chapter Forty-three

Sage's POV

I woke up and blindly reached for a shirt, I grabbed Remington's hoodie. i threw it on and looked over at Remi who's still asleep.

Aweee hes so damn cute when he sleeps.

As I walked downstairs I saw Toni and Lucy just walk into my house.

Okay.

"Hey" I said yawning.

"Did you just wake up?" Lucy asked as she showed me the time which is 12:20pm.

"Well shit, I guess I did" I said laughing.

"Oh shit we have big news!!" Toni said happily.

"What is it?" I asked curiously.

"Me and Lucy got into to college!!" Toni said handing me two pieces of paper.

That read my babies got into college.

"Holy shit guys" I said as I hugged them.

"I can't believe it!" Lucy said smiling.

"What are you going for?" I asked as I went to open the fridge to find food.

" I'm going for music production" Toni said as she also looked for food to her small bean baby.

"And I'm going for flim" Lucy said smiling.

"Awe my babies have grown up" I said fake crying.

" are you proud mom?" Lucy asked me.

"Yes baby very proud" I said blowing a  kiss to her.

"Luc, what's Jordan gonna do?" Toni asked pulling some mashed potatos to cook.

"Peace Corp, shes waiting to her place assignment" Lucy said spinning around in a chair.

"Are y'all still gonna be together?" I asked as I sat on the counter.

"Of course, we plan on getting married" she said smiling.

"Oh my god!! Wait till I have my baby and it can he the ring bearer!!!!" Toni said overly excited.

"Toni. Yes" Lucy said laughing.

"What is our life?" I asked giggling.

"I have absolutely no idea" Lucy said.

As we ate the mashed potatoes that Toni made, Remi walked downstairs talking on the phone.

"Does he just live here now?" Lucy asked chuckling.

"Yeah pretty much" I said laughing.

He walked over to me and stole my spoonful of food and ate it.

"Dude really?" I asked trying not to laugh.

"Sorry baby" He said laughing.

"Its okay" I said as I continued eating.

"Hey can mine and Emerson's friend come over?" He asked.

"Sure" I said.

"Okay" he said as he kissed my cheek.

About ten minutes later I walked back downstairs from putting pants on and I seen Emerson and this adorable guy standing next to him wearing Remi's new playboy hoodie he just brought cause I stole his first one.

"Sage, this is my friend Ryan" He said smiling.

"Hi Ryan" I said smiling.

"Hey Remington and Emerson have told me alot about you" He said smiling.

We sat and got to each other and hes now my favorite person ever. Him and Emerson are best friends, He's going to an art school that has dorms so he is gonna stay there and it actually not that far from my house.

"Yeah its official me and Sage are adopting you, Ryan your now my son" Remi said laughing and smiling.

"Oh my gosh" he said hugging us.

3 hours later

Emerson and Ryan went to hang out and most likely draw, Me and Remington were chilling in the couch watching Disney movies.

Toni and Lucy also had to leave, but Dad and Robert walked in the house.

"Hey dad" I said looking at them.

"Hey Honey" He said sounding tried and worn out.

"Where have you been?" I asked.

"Arguing with your mother" He sighed.

"About what?" I asked.

"our parenting plan and getting it finalized" He said taking off his jacket.

"That means what?" I asked.

"Means in a couple weeks ill get a paper or email saying the divorce will be finale" He said with a smile.

"Good" I said going back to the movie and grabbing Remi's hand and holding it.

Robert's POV

There is a nagging in my brain saying that I have to tell Mark that Im the father of Toni's baby.

My plan is take him for a drink, even though I'm sober, Mark on the other hand will to be drunk as hell.

"Hey wanna go get a drink and talk" I asked him after he talked to Sage.

"Um sure" He said grabbing his stuff.

"Sage were going out for a drink" I told her.

"Alrighty" she said.

We walked to my car and I drove us to a dive bar. We both walked in and got a table.

" beer?" I asked him as he sat down.

"Yeah, sure" he said kinda confused, rather him be confused then pissed.

I got use four beers, none for me all for him. I walked back and sat down.

"Why four?" He asked grabbing one.

"So we dont have to get up" I said grabbing one but not drinking it.

"What do you need to talk about" Mark asked drinking.

"Um ill tell you in minute" I said looking around.

Will its three beers later and I have to tell him, he won't stop asking.

I took a deep breath "swear you wont get mad?"

"Look....Robert I promise" he slurred.

"Iamtonisbabydaddy" I said fast. Im gonna have a damn heart attack.

"What?" He asked looking at me confused.

"I am the father of Toni's baby" I said waiting for a shit storm.

He started laughing, wait hes drunk.

"Are shitting me" he asked joking.

"No" I said absolutely serious.

"Robert your actually serious?" He asked leaning close to me.

"Yeah I am, I love Toni and the baby" I said honestly.

"Well shit, your gonna dad again" He said laughing.

Then it actually hit me "f*ck I am"
