I wake up the next morning hearing my phone beep. I got a text from Dominic.
"Oh just to let you know I recorded you last night."
"Are you fucking serious?!"
I waited a couple minutes.
"Yep! I'm not gonna show it to anybody so don't worry about that."
"I'm not worried about that, I know you wouldn't. That better not get leaked!"
"I wouldn't do that to you."
"You better not I'll kick your butt!"
"Yeah ok. I'd like to see you try."
"I would but you know you're in New Orleans and all so."
"Ok that made me laugh. But I got to do a sound check. I love you."
"Love you too."
I go downstairs to the kitchen.
I wish Lynn and I didn't work such different schedules. But at least we have the same days off.
I think I'll eat something then take a swim.
One of the things I love the most about Dominic's house. He has very high walls plus trees surrounding the whole property. So no one can see in. Total privacy.
I ate some fruit and yogurt for breakfast. After that I went outside. And took off my shirt and jumped in the pool.
I did about 20 laps then got out and laid on one of the lounge chairs.

I grab my phone and I'm getting a video call from Dominic.
"Hey beautiful."

"I'm out by the pool."

I sat up on the lounge chair.
"Very nice."
I laugh.
