Calm down! I don't believe her. I trust you. I know you wouldn't do that. I can see it in your eyes."

"Shit I was about to have an anxiety attack. Doug is doing this shit. I just know it!"

"Who's Doug?"

"My dad and manager of Asylum."

"He's pissed cause Dominic married a nobody."

"Can't you fire the asshole!"

"Wow mom I never heard you curse before! Keep doing it. It suits you."

"Ok I guess I had to say this eventually. I can't. Not unless he causes direct harm to myself, any other band member, or now my wife."

"Oh my goodness."

"What is it dear?"

"That's why he's really pissed that you married me."

"What do you mean?"

"He slept with your ex. He knows if you married her he can do it again and she won't say anything. But I'll talk."

"That son of a bitch! I swear if he comes anywhere near you."

"I'll be more then happy to represent you in court."

"Oh did I forget to mention my dad's the best lawyer in Colorado Springs?"

"You're a lawyer?"

"If he tries anything I'll have him in front of a judge so fast!"

"But you don't have any jurisdiction in LA."

"I'll get it!"

"So what are we gonna do about that interview?"

"We're not gonna even acknowledge it. If I know my dad that'll just piss him off and within a couple days they'll be a new story. And it will be more controversial then the last one."

"And with every story make sure you have a reliable alibi. Post videos on social media. Post pictures of you two together with time and date stamps."

"Got it."

"I'm not letting these people fuck with my daughter. Or you Dominic you're family now!"

"Thank you I really appreciate that."

"I need to go to bed. I'm so done."

I go up to my room closing the door.

"Hey I'm right behind you."

"Oh I'm sorry Dominic. I'm just."

"I know. I am too. But believe me the best thing is to keep calm and ignore it."

"I know it's just hard. I don't want someone to ask me something then give the wrong response."

"Then don't even bother."

"Ok."

I get undressed and get into bed. I'm laying in bed watching Dominic undress. That never gets old to see.

He gets into bed laying oin his side facing me.

"You know I love you right?"

"Of course I do. And I love you."
