Dominic's POV.

It's five in the morning and we're on our way to the airport to head to New York but first we gotta stop in Colorado springs.

October's parents are puppy sitting Blaze for us. He's going to love the snow that's still in Colorado.

We get to the airport meeting up with the rest of the band. We get on the plane and take our seats.

As soon as we get into the air I sit down and October curls up into my lap falling asleep. October is curled up on my lap with her head laying against my chest.

I'm trying my best not to fall asleep until we at least land in Colorado Springs. I've got two hours to go and I don't know if I'm gonna make it.

I look around at everyone else and there conked out. Blaze is in his travel kennel and even he's asleep. Screw it I need sleep too. I tighten my grip on October and close my eyes.

"Excuse me Dominic?"

I squint my eyes then rub my eyes. I open them up and Colin is standing front of me. I still have a tight hold on October.

"Is something wrong?"

"We're in Colorado Springs sir."

"Shit already? I just closed my eyes. Ok thank you."

I look around and notice Michael's waking up too. I lightly shake October's shoulder.

"Baby you gotta wake up."

She turns a lit bit then yawns.

"What?"

"We landed in Colorado."

"Already?"

"I said the same thing."

She stretches out then stands up. I hear Blaze yelping he's awake too. I go to stand up and follow October to Blaze's kennel. She opens it up and picks him up.

"Ok Blaze you've got to stay with your grandparents for a couples months but will see you when we come back to Colorado."

She leans down and kisses his head. I can tell she's trying to not get too emotional.

"It's ok baby when we've got him fully trained he can stay with us on the next tour."

"I know I'm just gonna miss him."

"I know you will and I will too."

The door off the plane opens and we walk out to the parking lot. Jimmy and Jill are waiting by there car.

"Hey mom hi dad."

October hands me Blaze and hugs her parents.

"Any more calls from Carol?"

"I finally blocked her number."

"I'm really sorry how that turned out sweetheart."

"I know you are mom. But now I'm actually glad she left me."

"Why are you being quiet Dominic?"

"I'm up way too early."

We all laugh.

"Well we weren't sure what you guys had on the plane. So on the way here we stopped and got everyone coffees and donuts."

October has got to have the two best parents ever.

"Oh my goodness you two are the best. But unfortunately we've got get going. I love you two."

"We love you too October. Your mom and I are so proud of you."

I look at October and she's got that look in her eyes again. I put my arm her shoulders. We all hug and say our byes.

We get back on the plane and I notice an extra coffee. Wow they even got one for Colin. I go up front hand give him his with a donut.

I go back to sit and notice October crying. I kneel down in front of her and put my hands on her knees.

"You ok baby?"

"That was the first time I have ever heard my dad say he was proud of me."

I just look up at her smile.

"Want your coffee love?"

"Yes please."

Apparently October had a special coffee not surprised she only likes iced coffee.

"Thank you Dominic."

"You're welcome. You know Blaze is going to be ok to right?"

"Yeah I know. I'm just gonna miss him begging at my feet while I'm eating."

"And then you try and sneak him a piece."

She smiles.

"Yeah I know you do that."

"Hell he might be trained when we pick him up."

We both laugh.

"Hey Michael can I ask you something?"

"Sure."

"Dominic told me you are a hacker. How'd you get into it?"

Michael laughs.

"Um Dominic?"

"Through elementary school Dimitri and I were always in the same classes. When we got to Junior high we did not.

I had met Michael and we became friends pretty quickly. Dimitri had met Shawn and same with those two.

So the four of us would hang out play instruments. My mom let us practice in the basement.

Michael?"

"Well one day I was playing on Dominic's computer. I had been learning how to hack into them from my older brother who was going to college as a computer programmer.

I decided to see if I can get into the schools computer system. Well I did.

So every once in a while I'd go in change the lunch menu. If one of the guys had a bad grade well I'd fix it for then. Well for a price that is.

If I got caught at least I got a playboy or two out of it."

We laugh.

"That's actually kinda cool. Did you ever get caught?"

"Dominic?"

"My mom busted us.

Michael was changing one of Dimitri's grades. My mom comes up right behind us. Puts her hand on my shoulder and whispers into my ear what are you going? Scared the shit outta us! I screamed like a little girl!"

October starts laughing.

"What did your mom do?"

"Well I got grounded for a month but the cool thing was she didn't tell Doug."

Damn I miss her.
