Weeks passed and I got used to the Dallas' schedule and had created my own. We got up, I showered while Caneron got Davis and I would take Davis downstairs. I'd make her breakfast and Cam and I breakfast while he showered. He'd clean up breakfast while I bathed Davis. I would dress her and then I would take Davis to therapy, while Cameron did his classes. I would go run errands and come back. Cameron and I would have lunch together, and then he'd get Davis. He'd then come back and I'd do lessons with Davis. We'd play with her and keep her amused for a while, and then we'd head to the beach. After the beach dinner and we'd put Davis to bed. Cameron would have friends over and I would do some work. After his friends left I'd go for a bike ride. I'd end up at the beach and walk along the water to run through my plans for then next day.

So here I was parking my bike along a fence and heading to the beach. I started walking to the water, getting an odd feeling. Like I shouldn't be there. I shrugged it off starting to walk along the water. I was around ten minutes into my walk when I really suspected something wasn't right. I was about to turn around to start heading back when I got a jab from behind. "Give me your valuables." Oh god. This wasn't happening. No. "I-I don't have any on me. I swear. Please don't hurt me." "Nuttin'?" "Nothing. I'm not lying. Honest." I heard the man sigh. "Alright. Get on your knees." I slowly did as I was told, my anxiety getting the best of me. "Take off your shorts." "W-What?" "I said take them off!!" Gunshot. I was thrown onto my stomach from the force. I rolled onto my back crying now. "Okay, okay! Please don't shoot me again! Please!" I shakily reached down and undid my shorts, and slid them off. "Anyone know you're here?" "J-Just my roommate. He has a baby though he can't leave." "Good." He spoke pulling his shirt off. I should have left. I should've trusted my instincts. Lizzie you're such a dumb ass. "Your shirt." "No." Frustrated, he reached down and tore the shirt from were the bullet hole was. I wasn't giving up. "HELP! HELP ME!!" "Shut up, whore!" "HELP!!!!!" Another bullet. "Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow!" I mumbled, breathing as calmly as I could. Just keep breathing Liz. You'll get through this. "Help me. Someone." I mumbled. The guy was shirtless and fumbling with his belt. Before he could unbuckle a guy went and tackled him to the ground. "You son of a bitch, get your hands off of her!" I heard the punches being thrown, and the guy escaping. "Lizzie, Liz, are you okay? Are you hurt? What hurts?" Cameron. He lifted up my back, leaning me onto his knee. I had grabbed my shirt when he tackled the guy and pressed it to my wounds. "H-He shot me. Twice." I was breathing heavy, crying hard and pressing my abdomen as hard as I could. "We have to get you to a hospital." He muttered picking me up and starting to run.

I woke up looking around, trying to sit up and immeadietly regretting it. "Fuck, fuck, fuck." I muttered reaching down to were it hurt. Bandages? I looked to my right and saw baggies. Hospital. Would make sense. I laid back and closed my eyes falling asleep again. I suddenly woke up from a long nap. "Davis." I mumbled quickly. "She's at home. Nash has her. How you feeling?" I looked over and saw Cameron, holding tightly to my hand. "Scared..." He nodded, rubbing my hand with his thumb. "You passed out in the car you know?" "I guess.." "Liz, I was so scared I was gonna lose you." "All I am is Davis' teacher.." I mumbled. He looked at me for a minute before standing up and taking the side of my head gently an pulling my face to his, before pressing his lips to mine. When he pulled away he looked at me biting his lip. "No.. You're not. Up until that moment I had no idea, but Liz, I'm tripping on my own two feet when you're not around. I'm falling for you."
