I got sick at the of worst times. Always when something bad happened.
So with that knowledge what do you suspect?
You guessed it. I'm sick.
I asked if Cameron could come down to take care of me and he'd said he'd try, but it doesn't seem like he is.
I get that his sister is more important since she doesn't remember that she is a sister.
See, when she woke up, the only thing about Cameron that she remembered was that he was famous. Nothing else. So she was confused as to why Cameron was in her room.
Heartbreaking to hear actually.
Besides the point.
I was sick two weeks into my last month of my second trimester. Which just didn't sound good.
I was stuck in bed with a fever, the chills, a pounding headache, and basically coughing up my lungs. Along with a stuffed nose.
I felt like my chest was going to collapse with how much I'd been coughing.
I woke up to my phone vibrating violently. "Hello?"
"Babe, you sound awful."
"Well no shit, I'm sick."
"You're not feeling any better, I take it?"
"Not a bit." I sniffed.
"Aw, my poor girl."
"You know I'd feel better if a certain brown haired boy with a one and a half year old would come visit me."
"Oh like me? That's good to hear since I'm entering your apartment now."
"Wha-" I heard the door open and squealing coming to my room. "Mommy!"
"Hi baby girl!" I spoke moving my legs to the side of the bed, letting them dangle so I could pick Davis up. I did so and squeezed her tightly before having her poke my stomach. She then looked at Cameron. "Why is Mommy chubby?" This got me giggling so Cameron took her and sat her in his lap. "Davis, Mommy's got a baby in her tummy. You're gonna be a big sister."
"Baby?" She asked looking at me. "Yeah, she's having a baby." Cameron anwsered getting another look. She didn't quite understand and so she shook it off and started exploring. "So you said you weren't feeling well?" He asked pulling me up onto my feet and into his arms. "Well I'm feeling remarkedly better." I spoke, my head on his shoulder, and my bump just made it hard to hug him. Cameron let go and walked behind me and hugged me from behind which was much easier. "This better?"
"Much, thank you." I smiled as he put his head on my shoulder. I could feel his jaw move to have him smiling. I turned around and he let go and took my hands. "Do you know what today is?" I pretended to think hard but the started coughing and coughed into Cameron's hoodies' sleeve. "Yes." I coughed and then laughed. "So it is in fact our six month anniversary?" He asked raising an eyebrow. "Yes. It is. And I would kiss you but I don't want you to get sick." I spoke before he kissed my forehead. "It's all good. I like kissing your face too." He spoke before kissing both cheeks and the tip of my nose. "I love you so much Cam." I spoke looking up at me. "Good. Because you're carrying my little guy or gal. Did you ever find that out?"
"I did. And only the technician and Shawn know the gender."
"Well let's get some medicine in your system and then we'll do a YouNow. Kay?" I nodded giggling. "You are up for that right?"
"Of course I am babe." I spoke leading him into the family room where a few newborn thing lay along with toys that Davis was playing with. "What's that?"
"Stuff I've bought. Oh right! Dave look!" I spoke turning back into my room and picking up the stuffed elephant from my bed. I walked back out and bounced it in the air giving it to her. She took it gratefully and I knelt down and picked her up. "So a YouNow to announce this?"
"Yeah, I was figuring we could have Davis shout 'big sister' or something."
"Aw that'd be cute! Like we could say, 'we've got some big news and a new,' and she could say it. I love it." I spoke walking over to the counter. This would be good.
