Chapter 25

Around an hour had passed when Cameron got back with a box of pizza in hand. "Finally I thought I was going to die." I laughed as he set down the box. "Have you had any contractions yet?" He asked me as I laid back down. I shook my head pulling the crust away from my mouth and chewing the remains in my mouth. "Slight ones but nothing major." I spoke my mouth full. "That's a bit concerning, isn't it?" I shrugged as my doctor came in giggling because of everyone eating pizza. "How's mom feeling?" She questioned sitting in her chair. "Satisfied with her boyfriends servant skills." She laughed as she checked how dilated I was. "Well it doesn't look like he's moved too far. Elizabeth darling, you're going to be here a while." She spoke pulling off the latex gloves. "It's whatever. I'm glad he isn't here yet, considering that he's early." She nodded and asked Cameron to come with her outside.

"What's up?" I asked as she looked at her board. She then looked at me. "Elizabeth went into what I'm going to call a panicked labor. Her water broke, which made the baby have to come. But her body isn't too willing to let him go. So after 48 hours of no baby we'll have to do a emergency - c section. I just want you two to be aware." I nodded and thanked her, feeling my phone vibrate. "Shawn: Ugh, we ran out of milk. I kinda don't have a car, and Nash went to go get him and I more clothes... What do I feed Davis?" I laughed and replied. "Dude she eats normal food. Cut up some strawberries and put her in her high chair. She'll eat them right up. Also she's got cups with lids in the cabinet next to the fridge. She likes OJ and apple juice. Lots of choices for her in there. What is she doing up at 6 in the morning?" I asked and headed back into the room. "Shawn: She woke up crying for Elizabeth. We couldn't get her back to bed after that. So here we are. Nash also has to film a video with some YouTuber while he's here." I nodded and replied. "Well you guys can let her come and visit since it's going to be a while before she delivers. Also which YouTuber?"

"Shawn: Caspar Lee. Heard of him?"

"Oh yes."

"Shawn: Yeah Nash is going to his and his wife's house. His wife is at work currently so we were going to take Davis to amuse his two kids who are around Davis's age."

"I'm sure Davis would like to meet her half siblings."

"Shawn: Whoa what."

"Caspar married my ex-girlfriend, Reese James. That's Davis' bio mom."

"Shawn: Holy shit. Small world. Wait, dude what hospital are you at?"

"UCLA Medical Center. Why?"

"Shawn: Whatever you do stay in the maternity wing."

"Don't tell me."

"Shawn: Reese is an ER doctor... At UCLA..."

"Wow. Two kids, a YouTuber, and a doctor. Unique family."

"Shawn: *Three "

"She's having another????"

"Shawn: She's like 4 months or something."

"Ugh. Just bring Davis when you can. Liz misses her."

"Shawn: Alright, Nash just got back, and she's eating, so when we're both showered and she's dressed we'll start heading over."

"Alright see you then."

I walked into the room and sat down. Then I remember. One of Reese's kids had a middle name of Issac. Shit.

"Liz, we can't name him Miles Issac."

"Why not?" She asked looking at me.

"Reese... Her second youngest's middle name is Issac. Plus that'll tie him to her and I want to tie him to you because he's our kid." She nodded and laid back. "Well now what?" She looked at me and sighed. "Harper? Miles Harper?" She asked softly and sighed. "I don't know. I just, my head hurts I want to sleep." She complained. "Alright, alright." I spoke rubbing her head. I kissed her forehead and backed up a bit. "I'm going to talk a walk. Tell Shawn to text me because he's supposed to be here soon with Davis. Okay?" She nodded curling into the bed further.

I went to the elevator and pressed the down button. I entered the elevator and found the Emergency Room's floor. I got there and went to the desk. "I'm looking fo-" I then heard two names I didn't want to hear while in the ER. "What's his name?"

"Shawn. Shawn Mendes."

"And hers?"

"Davis James-Dallas. Her dad's here and her mother figure is a patient here right now."

"Do you know what happened?"

"Not at all."

I saw Nash tugging on his hair as two gurneys were pushed into rooms. "Nash.. What the hell is going on?"

"Cameron... I ugh..." He scratched his neck looking at me.

"I sent Shawn with Davis here to see Liz and I was with Caspar and all I know is that I was called because he's staying with me while he's here so, all I know was he was in a crash and it wasn't his fault."

"Nash. Where's Davis."
