Eight AM. The day started with me running out of bed to grab Davis. "Hey, hey, I'm here, I'm here, I'm here." I spoke reaching over and pulling the little girl out from the crib. I changed her diaper quickly and knocked on Liz's door loudly. "Rise and shine!" I shouted heading downstairs. I set Davis in her high chair and got a baby bowl out and filled it with Cheerios and gave them to her while cutting up strawberries. I made sure the coffee was done before Lizzie got downstairs. When she did her hair was everywhere and she had glasses on her face. "Morning." I chuckled grabbing a mug and filling it with coffee. "How do you like your coffee?" "Half and half with three teaspoons of sugar." She mumbled sitting at the table next to Davis. I fixed her coffee and set it down in front of her while finishing up Day's strawberries. "Bon appetite." I spoke chuckling. I set the cutting board and knife in the sink gettin coffee for myself and starting on breakfast. "How do you like your eggs?" "Just the whites." "You should eat the yolk you know." I spoke separating it from the rest of the egg and throwing it away. "Yeah I'm just not up for it this morning." I nodded starting to whistle and finishing Elizabeth's eggs. I put them on a plate with some microwaveable bacon and put it in front of her. "Mungza tootie" "What's that?" "Eat up. It's Italian." "Bi-lingual much?" "Naw, just a big eater." I chuckled finishing my own eggs and sitting down.

Nine o'clock I put Davis in her playpen and ran upstairs to shower quickly. When I finished I got dressed and heard Lizzie get into the shower. I got Davis and headed back upstairs to get her dressed. Once she was I put a headband on her pushing her bangs back. "Liz, we've gotta go!" "But I'm not even done shampooing!" "Well finish up! We've gotta go!" I chuckled grabbing her diaper bag and heading out to my car. I sat Davis in her seat and buckled her in as Lizzie ran out of the house, hair still wet, and a dark brown. She was still buttoning her shorts on as she climbed into the passenger side pulling a makeup bag out of her purse. I shut Davis' door and climbing into the driver's side starting the car. "Where are we even going?" "I have to drop Davis off at therapy, I have a haircut at eleven twenty and I still need to have a deep discussion with you about Davis." "Oh." She spoke as I pulled out of the spot and she started putting on her makeup. "Hard turn." I spoke so her makeup wouldn't get messed up. "How did you know to do that?" "I have a sister and I suck at driving really." "You have a sister?" "Yeah. Surprise." She laughed continuing to do her makeup.

When Davis was dropped off and my hair was cut, we went to Starbucks. We ordered, got our drinks, and sat down. "Finally. Okay. Davis." "So, Davis is seven months old, and since she doesn't have her hearing, her other senses seemed heightened. Like she can see like a rabbit outside from like eighty feet away. She's really smart. I don't know how to prove that but..." "Cameron, I've read her profile you know." "Oh..." "How about more of you? Have you dated recently?" "What?" I asked a bit shocked. "You heard me. Have you?" "I-Ugh, um..." "I'm taking that as a no." "Yeah no. You?" "Eh, some asshole in my social services class." I nodded sipping my coffee. "You deserve someone responsible." "Me?" "Yeah. I mean you're kind of great you know." I spoke smiling at her. "Thanks. You do too Cam." I smiled at her and got up to use the bathroom patting her on back. I heard her giggle and smiled. I like her. She's sweet.
