[Go listen to ThePianoGuys' cover of A Thousand Years by Christina Perri while reading. Like the whole time.]

When I entered Davis' room I saw a nurse discharging her with my sister by her side. "There's daddy's princess." I smiled picking her up when she no longer had the IV in her hand. I held her tightly to my chest.

Davis was more than my daughter, she was my smile maker for around a year before I truly had Elizabeth. I loved her so much, and I just couldn't let anything hurt her. I only put her with people I trusted.

Davis was kind of like my wish granting factory. It may not have given me my exact wish, but it was a pretty damn good one.

Sierra and I walked up to Lizzie's room, while Davis slept on my shoulder soundly. I entered the room to see Liz still fast asleep. My two loves were fast asleep. I carefully laid Davis at the bottom of the bed and looked at both of them. I pulled up a chair to the end of the bed and just admired them both. And to think I had a son now too. My life was.. Kind of great right now. I then looked down at my hand and knew that there was one thing that could make my life better. I quickly took a photo of my girls and headed out to the hallway.

"Cameron?" Mrs. Nades asked shocked over the phone. "Hello." I smiled even though I knew she couldn't see me. "Mam, I know we haven't exactly met face to face, but I do have a son with your daughter now. He and Elizabeth and my own daughter mean so much to me. I couldn't thank you enough times for the amazing woman you've given me. I just ask one thing." I explained as I heard her breath hitch. "May I have your daughter's hand in marriage?"

I woke up to the sight of Davis fast asleep at the bottom of my bed. I grabbed my phone and snapped a picture and put it on twitter. "One of the best sights to wake up to." I smiled and looked at Cameron's mother and sister fast asleep. It was around nine o'clock at night and it was quiet. A good kind of quiet though. An enjoyable quiet. I heard a knock and saw Cameron walking in, bouncing a bundled up ball of blankets. "I think someone would like to see his momma." He spoke looking at the little boy in his arms. I reached out for him and carefully took him into my arms. He was fast asleep, with his finger in loose little fists, and started to yawn. "Cameron... He's so perfect..." I smiled looking up at him. "All of this is perfect. And I know a better way to make it even more perfect." He whispered gently pulling on the light blue beanie on Miles head. Something silver fell out of the beanie when he pulled it off, and Cameron caught it. He put the beanie back on the sleeping infant and handed me a silver ring. "If we could all start calling ourselves just 'The Dallas family' instead of 'The James-Dallas-Nades family' as long and lovely as that sounds, I figured it'd be easier on everyone." I slightly gasped at the sight of the ring. "Oh, and I got your mothers, and grandmother's permission this time around. They do kind of get a say." I giggled and reached up and wiped a tear. "I'm emotional right now and you're not making it easier for me to deal with." I giggled making him chuckle. "Well here, let's make this short. Elizabeth Nades, I'm in love with you. And you is all of you. Every glittering piece that shines through, even in the darkest of places. Without you I don't know what I'd have. I'd probably still have a deaf daughter, a crappy apartment and a suck-ass job. I also wouldn't have this little man right here if it weren't for you. And that's pretty much what my life is right now. Davis, Miles, and you. So. Elizabeth Nades. Will you marry me?" I smiled and bit my lip nodding and letting tears shed. He smiled at me and kissed me gently before carefully pulling on the ring. "Mommy?" Davis looked up at me and rubbed her eyes. "Hey punkin'. Here, meet your little brother." Cameron picked her up and brought her closer to him. She poked his nose gently making him sneeze softly. I giggled at looked over at the laughing little girl and an admiring Cameron.

Nothing could ruin this for me. Nothing.

I had everything I needed.
