Before I knew it, Shawn was done touring and had told Nash the gender of our baby. It was nerve wracking as the days grew closer and closer. Liz was geting bigger and bigger and it kind of really hit me when we flew home and started putting together the nursery.
Then the gender reveal party came and I was getting anxious. Nash and Shawn planned the whole thing with the help of Mahogany. Lizzie had told her mom about the baby and I had told my family they were all excited and, of course, the fans were too. Sierra was in therapy and was slowly getting her memories back. It was hard to hear but I talked to her at least once a day.
It was so hard seeing your sister; your closest friend, forget you. Only know you for your actions. Your achievements and your status online. Insane. I hated it. Of course I hadn't wanted to leave but I had my own things to do.
The day of the actual party, Nash was recording the reveal. But that wasn't going to come for a while. We got to Nash's place and I held Davis as we entered. Only close friends had been invited and since both of our families were in different states, they'd see the video before everyone else.
"Liz you look so good!!"
"Aw thanks!" I stood there awkwardly walking around and talking to Matt and co. "Dude I'm so excited you don't even know."
"Imagine me I'm the actual father of this kid. I'm finding out for the first time what this kid is." I chuckled as Nash came up. We talked had some drinks and caught up.
Suddenly Nash caught everyone's attention, "You're all probably wondering why I've gathered you here today." A few people laughed and some just shook their heads. "One of my best friends is having his second kid. But only Shawn and Myself know the gender. So! We're going to show you guys! But! We've got a twist. We're going to dump water, on the expecting parents, and the water, is going to be the color of gender. You guys ready??" Everyone cheered and laughed but Liz had a panicked look on her face. "What's the matter babe?" I asked as Shawn took Davis from me and we stood in the driveway. "I'm just worried." She spoke taking my hand. "Why?" I asked as everyone got out their cameras and Carter and Matt grabbed the bucket. "It's dumb."
"No tell me." I spoke as they lifted the bucket above us. "Depending on the tempurature of the water it could induce LABOR!!" Liz screamed as ice cold, blue water was poured onto us. I looked at the ground below and saw the color and looked at Elizabeth happily. "It's a boy. Oh my god it's a boy!" I was cheering and jumping up and down but Liz stood there, a shocked look on her face. The noise quieted down as everyone noticed Liz wasn't really saying anything. "Hey, you okay?" I asked bending down to get to her eye level, and tucking hair behind her ear. "I-I'm c-cold and I-I'm pretty sure m-my water just b-b-broke." She spoke shaking. My smile was imeadietly wiped off my face. "Are you serious?" I asked concerned. "Elizabeth if you are serious we have to go to the hospital." She slowly nodded and I could see tears in her eyes. "Someone get me a towel and a blanket!" I spoke turning around. Matt ran inside and Nash stopped the video running up to me. "What's going on? Is she okay?"
"Idiot, cold water induces labor!" I whispered taking the towel from Matt and starting to dry a frozen, crying Liz off. "Hey, it's gonna be okay, he's gonna be okay Liz."
If Liz was going to have this baby, he'd be a month and a half pre-mature.
