I woke up suddenly from extreme pain. "Ah, ahh, hoo." I sat up slowly and Sierra came over. "You okay?" I nodded breathing out and slowly keeping my breathing steady. "Cameron. I need, Cameron." She nodded and turned to her mother to tell her to stay with me while she went to get Cameron.

Liz's contractions were picking up as I didn't know where Cameron was. I ran around the floor level and got back to Liz's room. I pulled out my phone to call Cameron when I saw a tweet from Nash. "Why can't my friends stop getting hurt?????" I then ran to the elevator and went to the ER. When I entered the Emergency Room Cameron had his elbows to his knees his fingers over his mouth, and Nash next to him patting him on the back. "Cam? What's going on?" I asked softly as he looked up at me. "They were driving here, and they got in a crash and.." He stopped talking starting to cry. "Hey," Nash got up and made room for me and I sat down hugging my brother. "They're going to be okay... Liz just woke up. Her contractions are getting stronger. I think she needs you." I spoke rubbing his back. He nodded and pulled himself together. "Just, stay here with her, and go in when you can?"

"Absolutely. It'd be my first response." He nodded and headed upstairs. I sat down where he had and Nash sat next to me. "I'm here for the family of Mendes?" I looked up and saw a face I'd never thought I'd see again. "Reese."

"Sierra.."

"Shawn?" Nash asked raising his hands like 'can we get back to why we're here?'

"Right. Fractured ribs and a cut to his forehead. He's fine." She explained. She then turned to me. "So.. Why are you here?" She asked curious. I stood up and crossed my arms. "Well my niece was in a car accident, my brother's having another child and a family friend has some fractured ribs and a cut to his head. How about you, Reese?" Her eyes widened. "Davis? Davis was in an accident? Is she okay?"

"Why would you care? You were going to give her up for adoption."

"She's still my daughter."

"Not on Elizabeth's or Davis' terms."

"W-who's Elizabeth?"

"Davis' mother. Since her biological one didn't give a damn about her." A doctor then came out calling for Davis James-Dallas' family. "I'm her aunt." I walked passed Reese and followed the doctor to her room. "She's fine. She's got bruises and a sprained ankle, that's all. She'll be fixed up within a week. " I nodded as we entered the room to a sleeping Davis. "Thank you." I sighed and pulled up a chair and pushed back her hair. She softly woke up and looked at me. "Hi Davey." She smiled a bit and softly waved at me. I smiled and continued to pet her hair. "Daddy?"

"He's upstairs with mommy right now." I spoke. She started crying and I climbed into the full size bed and pulled her into my lap shushing her. She was almost two, and didn't need to be here.

Miles was out, and not healthy. Liz was sleeping and loopy from her epidural. I just wanted to know how Miles was doing. "Mr. Dallas?" I stood up and was met face to face with Reese. "Dr. Lee." I spoke softly. "Follow me." I followed her to the nursery. "Miles is having respiratory problems." She spoke passing the glassed off room to the NICU. "And..."

"And his breathing isn't steady. We have him in an incubator but he's showing signs of apnea."

"What the hell is that?"

"He stops breathing for brief moments. We need to help him with some sort of breathing machine. An breathing tube, CPAP, something. But we need you to know that too much oxygen could cause more problems and you'd have to be willing to take that risk. It's only going to get worse for the next four days and it's possible we could lose him if we don't act now."

"Oh..." I sighed and looked at her. The same girl who had been the reason my life was like this, had more control on how not only my life was like this, but how my sons was.

"Do what you need to do. Whatever it is. Just.. Keep him breathing." She nodded handing me a paper that I needed to sign to give them permission. I took the pen and slowly and finally decided. I scratched the paper and the ink set into the crevice spelling out my name. I handed it back slowly sighing. "You want to see him?" I nodded and she lead me into one of the NICU rooms. She let me in and opened the incubator doors. "Hi buddy." I smiled slowly reaching in and rubbing his back. He had a lot of hair for a baby. Dark brown strands all over the top of his little head. He slowly opened his eyes to reveal grayish blue ones. "His final color should set in when he's a couple weeks old." I nodded rubbing his head softly. "Miles and Davis hugh?" I turned around looking at her, leaning onto the door frame. "Yeah. I'm pretty happy with both of them."

"Good. I'm sorry. I wanted to finish college and my parents would've shot me."

"Believe me my parents didn't take it lightly." I mumbled turning back to Miles. He was asleep again and sighed. "I should probably go check on Davis." I muttered starting to feel the awkward set in. "I'll be back little man." I whispered looking at Miles and walking out of NICU.
