Well my daughter still couldn't hear. My best friend was moving, and I would only have one friend. Lizzie. I sat with Davis, as they started detaching Elizabeth from everything. "Keep this band on for a week just in case anything happens." She nodded grabbing her clothes and heading into the bathroom. I sighed and let Davis walk around poking at things. i sighed and looked at my phone. Checking my emails I looked at one from work. "Dear Mr. Dallas, we have noticed you have not attended work for a week. We understand the concept of your daughter being a huge deal, but we can no longer hold you in our employees. We're sorry to give you this news, but with no information on why you aren't working, we have to cut you. With disregards, John Hamilton." I clenched my jaw shaking my head as Lizzie came out. "What?" "I lost my job." "Oh my god. Cam I'm sorry. If you need me to watch Davis in the mornings while you're job hunting I can. You don't need to pay for me anymore I'll get a side job. Really." "Lizzie that's not your problem. It's mine. I just.. Can't pay you now. I have to keep paying for my mortgage and all. I'm sorry." "Don't worry about it. Just find another job for now."

And as embarressing as it was, I now worked a 2-6 working shift at Wendy's. It payed well and hell I could use it. Plus it came with insurance. I always had a fan come in during my shift and had to take a picture (in uniform) and you don't know how many times I bent over that counter to take pictures. It's annoying I'll tell you. I got home from a evening shift and sighed. "More fans. I hate this job." "I'm sorry. I ordered pizza if that helps?" I stopped and looked at her a smile forming on my face. I walked over to her hugging her head with my arm and kissing her head. "You know me so well." She was smiling and so was I. I was looking at her, she was looking at me. I just couldn't stop thinking how much I wanted her to feel the same way. If I had it my way quite honestly she'd be up against the wall by now. But I couldn't have my way. She walked to a cabinet grabbing plates for her and I and one for Davis. "You know what tomorrow is?" "I most certainly do!" I cooed turning to the family room where Davis was standing, playing with something on her activity table. I walked over and picked her up tickiling her. "It's Ms. Davie's first birthday!" I spoke as she giggled. I out her on my hip and walked back to the kitchen. "Your parents are coming up yeah?" "Yeah. They're staying in LA for a night before goin home later. I can't believe she's turning one. It's insane." "What about Nash? Or any of the guys?" "I doubt it. I bet if I told twitter were her party was all the girls would be there." I laughed setting her down in her high chair as Lizzie cut up pizza for her. I watched her tiny fingers fly across the plate, holding the pizza to cut it up. God I love her hands. "Um... What?" I looked at her and shook my head. "Nothing. Forget it." I sighed and took the plate from her and giving it to Davis. I took my piece and headed upstairs. "I'm going to shower." "Okay." I heard her mumble as I reached the top.

I got out of the shower, towel wrapped around my waist. I exited the bathroom and went to my closet. Which was inconveniently located across the hall. I grabbed pajamas just as my towel fell. "Damn it." I picked it up to then discover that a red faced Elizabeth was standing at the top step. "Um... I'm just going to go.." I spoke pointing to my room. I ran in and shut the door quickly. Oh dear god.
