"No. Where is she?" "She's in the nursery wing." "How do you know?" "I met her husband in the elevator. She married a YouTuber. Not surprising." "Which one?" "Caspar Lee. So she's now Reese Lee. Instead of Reese James." "That's why Davis is Davis James-Dallas?" "Yep." "Oh wow." "Yeah, I'm going to DM Caspar and ask if I can swing by." "I don't know, if she's having a baby-" "he just tweeted the stats. Nicky Issac Lee 8 pounds, seven ounces." I read off my phone holding Davis' hand while she jumped up and down. "You want me to watch her?" "If you can?" "Kay." I pocketed my phone and picked her up. "Here, chill with mommy while I go talk to Reese." I smiled as she willing curled up next to her.

I got to the wing, explaining to the secretary that the woman in C41 was my daughter's mother, and got a pass. I made my way to the room watching as Caspar walked out with his first son. "Caspar, hey, um, Reese, is she good to go?" "How did you-" "long story. Can I talk to her?" "I guess yeah." I nodded entering the room. "Babe, you're back already? That was fa-" she stopped short when she saw me. "Cameron..." "Two kids and a forgotten daughter hmm?" I asked, putting my hands into my pockets. "I-" "Oh no, don't worry. I've taken care of her. She's upstairs with her teacher right now." "Teacher?" "Oh!" I exclaimed looking up at the ceiling sarcastically speaking. "That's right! You gave birth to your daughter and ran away, so you have no idea that she was born early and was sick. She lost her hearing five days after she was born. Your daughter is deaf Reese." Her jaw dropped. "Cameron, I am so so-" "No. Don't start that bullshit. You didn't even text me when you found out. And then you go ahead and leave her at a hospital with no one but the staff and my information. I almost got kicked out of school because I was absent so much. I was in and out of the hospital with her. I had to move back in with my parents and do online school. My YouTube income is gone because I can't raise a deaf child and do YouTube. I get tweets constantly asking me to come back to the sphere. But I can't. Because you didn't tell me fucking anything. You set my life on a whole different road while you went on, graduated and got married and had two more kids. Congrats by the way. I get to teach Davis' 'brother' now. One more word in her vocab. I hope you're happy with what you've done Reese. You've messed up my life, and I'm not letting you mess up our daughter's." Her jaw was slacked, eyes full of tears. "I want full custody. I've had her the whole time but I never had swapped her. By the way you're in debt for child support. I'll send Caspar the paper work. Congrats you two. I hope he makes up for the loss of your daughter." I looked at her one last time and walked out of the room, infuriated.

I got to Lizzie's floor and heard commotion coming from the room. "Move her daughter, get her out of here, we need to get her to the ICU." I ran to the room taking a crying Davis from a nurse, watching as they started pushing Elizabeth out of the room. "What's going on??" "Her wounds have become infected and it's entering her blood stream and her immune system can't handle it. She stopped breathing." I watched as they rushed to keep her heart pumping while she was practically dead. This really couldn't be happenening. No. I tried to get to the room, but since she wasn't immediate family to me I wasn't allowed in. I sat in the waiting room, letting Davis look through the one book I brought. A picture book of course. She patted the pages and then me trying to get my attention. "What beautiful?" I asked looking down. She was pointing to a little boy looking at his sister. "Brother." I mumbled. I'd have to look it up when I got home for her.

I didn't sleep that night. Not a wink of sleep. I was so worried about Lizzie that I really couldn't function. I got out of bed checking my phone. A text lit up on the screen. "Nash: Cam... I'm moving."
