Jimin

Park Jimin was hanging around his family's lake house with his friends when he was summoned by his father.

They were all back at his hometown and were enjoying the last day before he had to fly out for school.

Merely shrugging at the thought of it being anything important, Jimin went to his parents house.

As soon as he saw his mother's anxious face, he knew something was wrong. Looking at his father he put on a confused expression. What was going on?.

His father gestured for him to take a seat and as he did, started speaking. Jimin was quiet shocked to hear the words tumbling out of his father's mouth.

For a moment he thought he was hallucinating due to the few beers he had earlier on that day. But as his father kept on speaking and his mother, avoiding his eyes, he knew they were serious.

He was outraged, of course. It was a given, considering this was the first he'd heard of what his father was saying. Married? At this age? What was his father thinking? He was barely 18 and he had his entire life ahead of him. Jimin has never been interested in girls or commitments. He's always thought they were too much drama. He'd be running for the hills at the mere thought of even a girlfriend and here his father was talking about marriage.

Finally sick of hearing this bullshit, he stood up. Jimin never usually argued with his father. In fact, he never usually even spoke with him. Today his father had crossed all the limits and he was enraged.

How could he get married? It was ridiculous to even think about. He wouldn't let his father dictate over him like this. Like hell was he getting married to whoever this person was.

Jimin spoke his mind to his father. He didn't expect his father to understand or even agree with him but there was no way he was letting this man take away his choices.

Jimin wasn't planning on settling down any time soon. He didn't plan on being part of whatever drama his father had cooked up. No matter what.

Lylah

It was almost a week since I'd gone back home. One more day to suffer through.

The first few nights I spent crying over my own helpless state, cursing out my parents for putting me in this situation.

After the third night, I'd decided I wasn't gonna be playing the damsel in distress in this story. No. This was my life. There was no way I was letting someone else choose how I should live it.

If my parents wanted me to meet this boy then I would, but I would give him hell and no less.

After all I was Lylah Moseratti.

This boy, whoever it is, is gonna be running for the hills when I'm done with him. Pffft.

Marriage my ass.

Jimin

Jimin went straight back to the lake house to hang out with his friends again. He needed more than just a few drinks after the bomb that was dropped on him.

His bestfriend, Taehyung, otherwise known as V to his friends, immediately noticed his foul mood. So being the caring bestfriend that he was, he decided to completely not consider his feelings and started to poke fun at Jimin.

"What's got his highness's panties in a twist? Didn't get laid bro?" Taehyung smirked.

Jimin merely grunted and downed another glass of whiskey.

"Let's hit up the club. I heard that those college girls would be going there tonight." Came Namjoon's voice from the couch.

"Is that all you think about? Girls?" Suga rolled his eyes, moody as always.

"That and booze." Jin winked at Suga as Jungkook chuckled.

Jimin was still clearly disgruntled but as his friends put on their leather jackets, he started to follow them out to their cars.

Maybe a night to let loose was all he needed to forget about his arranged marriage.

And so he did. Jimin drank the night and his worries away and even if only temporarily, he forgot about his newly acquired fiancee and their impending meeting.
