I hung up the phone as quickly as my heart raced.

What? Why? How?

The shock wore off pretty quickly and I was over taken by anger. This again? Oh fuck's sake dad.

Just when things were finally going right. He had to do this shit. Why can't he just behave like a normal father and NOT keep setting me up with random guys??! Was he dropped on the head one too many times as a baby? Why would my mom even marry a dick like him? Honestly, if he weren't my mother's husband, I'd have him jailed for all his shit. He does realize I could charge him with child abuse of some sort or expose all his stupid shady deals? This bitch is basically asking for a beating.

And of all the people in this world, the Barton kid? Really dad? And I thought mom had poor taste.

I remember the Bartons. They were the living, breathing example of "snobby". I bet if you looked up the word in the dictionary, Sylvia Barton's picture would be right next to it. God, did I hate that woman.

There was her husband, the sleezy, scary, drunkard who thought everyone else was beneath his feet. And the bitchy daughter who thought the world revolved around her. Glad I don't remember much about that girl.

Aaand of course. The son. Lyle Barton. The asshole who ruined my childhood. I remember the snotty brat with the ridiculously blue eyes and golden blonde hair. Our parents would meet up quiet often for "tea parties" and "meetings". Well, I know for sure that those "business" meetings between my father and Hamish Barton were anything but legal.

My mom actually thought I got along with them. So she'd take me on to play dates with the siblings. And they'd terrorize me. Even though the sister was my age, she'd act like she was superior and the bastard brother wasn't even worth mentioning.

My fate must be really terrible to be connected to that family again

Fuck my life.

It was Monday morning and we were all in school. The bell had yet to ring so we were sitting outside in the courtyard.

"How can you say that? Ironman's totally better." Yelled Jin at Jungkook.

"Hyung, has iron man been alive for more than 70 years? Does he have the coolest shield made out of the strongest metal on earth?" Jungkook asked in a mocking way.

"Well, can Captain America FLY?" Jin retaliated.

"Ironman can't even keep a girl hyung. Maybe that's why you relate to him so much." Jungkook smirked, totally disrespecting his hyung again.

Jin looked hilariously devastated. "Wha.. that's... FOR YOUR INFORMATION PEPPER AND TONY ARE ENGAGED!" He forgot to defend himself or had nothing to say about it, cause well, it's true, more or less.

Jungkook just snickered and high fived a laughing Hobi.

Jimin was laying his head on my shoulder, sound asleep and next to him, Taehyung laid his head on Jimins shoulder, falling asleep as well. Suga was silently sitting next to Blair who was typing away on her phone. They both would've looked pretty distant if it weren't for their hands being intertwined and the small, content smile on Yoongi's face as he looked at Blair.

I looked over at Jin and Jungkook were now throwing fries at each other's faces and RM and Hobi were thumb wrestling.

Smh. Children. I sighed at the two pairs of idiots. Grown ass men, ladies and gentlemen.

I had yet to tell anyone about my moms phone call. I was hoping that if I ignore it for long enough, the problem might go away on its own. Well, that's my solution for all my problems.
