"ok class, settle down! i have an important announcement! this regards the year trip, today i will be announcing where you will be going." mr harrison looks at the eager students as their eyes await for the big news. "we have been so lucky to get a visit to Stark Industries, the day will consist of a tour, you will be able to go into some labs and test out some equipment, and you will be taken to a room which tells you about the history of the avengers. we will also be getting a talk from some scientists and Dr. Bruce Banner. you are some very lucky students. the trip will be taking place friday, take a permission slip on the way out, please." 

oh boy. this was great. if he went then he would most likely get embarrassed by the avengers, however if he didn't go, he would get a lot of... 

"this must suck for you penis! just admit that you're lying about that internship." flash says from the bench across from him. peter groans, holding his head in his hands. 

"hate to be you pete, but i think you should go, prove everyone wrong, and if they embarrass you, just think of it as gaining one up on flash, like they know you man!" ned try's to encourage to make my situation better. well as better as it can be.

so friday had rolled around and i somehow managed to get my slip signed. once i'm ready i grab my bag and a slice of toast, kissing may on the head, "bye, i love you!" i rush out of the apartment. truth is, i don't know how today will go about, i've not seen the avengers in a few weeks and i've not been to the labs in a week, i've been so busy recently. 

i make my way to the yellow (cliché) school bus and sit next to ned, with mj behind us. 

"you might want to just admit it now penis! you're worthless." flash shouts across at me throwing a paper ball at my head. 

the dreaded journey (for me) ends quicker than i would have hoped, as we soon pull up in front of the tower, and i'm already walking off the bus. i stay a little behind the group but the teacher is also at the back, telling me to walk. "peter come on, and you better not say anything about your internship which you clearly don't have, it could make bad press for Stark Industries but it could also put the school under a bad spot." i simply nod my head. of course he doesn't believe me. 

"hi! i'm your tour guide, emma, when i call your name out, come and get your badge." i vaguely remember her, i see her around sometimes when i'm running about the place, and she always lets a low laugh (which i hear thanks to my incredible spider senses). she makes her way around the group and soon everyone has them. "please pin them to your shirt, the head of security is big on stuff like this."  "parker didn't get one!" flash shouts and soon all eyes are on me. 

"oh peter! i didn't know you were coming, you've not been here recently, is everything ok? and you have your badge right?" 

"yeah i have it." i pull it out and place it on my jacket. "and yeah i'm fine, just busy." she simply nods and gets back to saying what we will be doing on the tour. 

"why is your badge a different colour from ours?" abe asks. 

"the different badges allow different access parts to the tower, yours are the lowest, omega level one, mines beta level three, it allows me access to certain parts of the tower, i'm not able to go above floor 57, then you have gamma which is the next level then the top level is alpha which is only available to the avengers, tony stark, pepper potts or anyone tony trusts."
