"Julian, how could you?" Jazzie whispered to Julian as they walked.

"I'm sorry, it just had it coming, I couldn't think straight for a second. It took me a while to find out what I said," Julian said nervously.

Jazzie shook her head. "I can't. . . That was. . . Mum-" She stopped speaking as they had made it to their common room.

Julian read all about Hogwarts and he was ready for a riddle.

"How many seconds are there in a year?"

"Hmm. . . " Julian said, thinking. "24 hours in a day so that's 24x60 then that times 365. . . " light bulb! Julian thought. "OH, I KNOW," Julian said with pride. "It's 31536000 seconds!"

"WRONG!" The eagle yelled. "Do you know the answer?" It asked, meaning Jazzie. She bit her lip. It must be a trick question, she thought. Suddenly, she thought of something. "Twelve. . .?" She said hesitantly. The door opened.

"Wh-WHAT?!" Julian said. "Did I miscalculate?! Wait. . . twelve? Oh, wait! Seconds! January second, February second! Ahh!"

  Jazzie smiled bashfully. "Yeah."

"That's pretty cool! I don't think I could've thought of it!" As they went into the common room, everyone started high-fiving Jazzie.

Jazzie blushed and accepted the high-fives. Once she was done, she went to Julian. "You see? We already learned something and classes haven't even started!"

  "Ha!"
