The next morning at breakfast everyone seemed to forget what I did. Korste even apologized to me, confessing that these assassination attempts on his brother as put him on edge. I smiled, accepting his apology.

"I can't imagine what you must be going through, but I can tell you truly care for your brother." I commented.

"Of course, Koltav's my brother. He's the only family I've got left." Korste replied.

Master Allie then stood up. "I'm going around the city again. I'll be back again."

Before I could protest, she turned to me. "Stay here and accompany the Diktat everywhere. No matter what protect him."

I nodded. "Understood Master."

With that she left the dining chambers. After breakfast, I accompanied Koltav into the audience chambers along with Korste and the rest of the council. I leaned against the wall near Koltav. R3 had accompanied me, standing with me. We then watched as Koltav and the others began to discuss certain issues and it wasn't long until they began to argue.

"It is crucial to keep our borders close." Koltav argued.

"Staying isolated and not doing absolutely anything will not solve a single issue." Blazvic Lakbor protested.

"Then tell me Blazvic, what will violence solve?" Koltav questioned. "What good will come out of creating an army?"

"It will defeat the Separatists for once and for all." Blazvic urged.

"We do not need an army. We have the Jedi, who are the peacekeepers of the galaxy." Koltav shot back.

Blazvic scoffed. "The Jedi? They're good for nothing. We need actual troops, fighting to keep us safe."

I narrowed my eyes at his words. I really didn't like this guy, not one bit. I cleared my throat. "I'm right here you know."

"Believe me, I didn't forget." Blazvic retorted.

"Blazvic enough. If you know what's good for you then you would know not to provoke her." Koltav warned.

I gave Koltav an appreciative smile. He returned my smile before continuing. "So I believe this meeting is over."

"But-" Blazvic began, but was cut off by Koltav.

"I said this meeting is over." Koltav replied, raising his voice.

As soon as his council left, Koltav stood up and turned towards me. And I couldn't help but to blurt out the following. "I don't like Blazvic."

Koltav chuckled. "I understand. I don't like him either."

He then extended his arm out. "Come, let's talk a walk."

"Where to?" I inquired as I placed my arm in his.

"To the gardens, if you'd like...If not then we could always go somewhere else." Koltav rambled on.

I chuckled. "Koltav, the gardens are perfect."

Koltav's face lit up. "Wonderful!"

With that we made our way to the gardens with R3 trailing right behind us. When we entered the gardens, R3 went off to find Fang. As we walked through the gardens, I spoke up. "So you don't regret your decision on withdrawing your vote and closing your borders."

Koltav shook his head. "Never. I stand for what I believe in."

A smile appeared on my face. "You sound like an honest man, unlike most politicians."

"Hey, not all of us are bad." He replied with a chuckle.

"I do know a few politicians who haven't participated in any fraudulent activities." I commented.
