Rako nodded. "Yes, it's me."
I stood there, completely shocked. Obi-Wan is Rako? How was that even possible? Eval, the male Phindian, was right by their ship. He shouted out to Rako and Cad. "The ship is still operational. I got it working. Now let's get out of here."
Cad tipped his hat towards Ahsoka, Areria, and me. "You're lucky we're in a hurry, little ladies. We'll have to dance another time."
With that, they climbed into their ship and took off. Ahsoka, Areria, and I quickly rushed over towards Anakin and Jinx. As we helped them up onto their feet, they were waking up.
"Jinx, Anakin, are you okay?" I asked.
Anakin nodded. "Yeah, just shaken up."
"Me too." Jinx chimed in.
I knew they weren't saying something. I could tell by the troubled looks on their faces. Could it be that they sensed a connection as well? Areria furrowed her brows. "What is it?"
"Is something wrong?" Ahsoka asked.
"That's why I felt a connection...Obi-Wan is still alive." Anakin confessed.
Jinx shook her head. "I don't understand."
"I don't understand either, but I sensed a connection as well." I added.
"Don't worry, we're gonna get to the bottom of this. Believe me." Anakin assured us.
Once we returned to the Jedi Temple, Master Yoda summoned both Anakin and me into his room. Master Yoda sat on one of his meditation pads, his back was facing us. Anakin and I had a million questions swarming about in our minds.
"You summoned us, Master?" Anakin inquired.
Master Yoda turned around to face us. He wore a grim look on his face. "Wrong to deceive you it was, but much at stake there is."
"So we are right. Obi-Wan is still alive." I mentioned.
"Ca'ana, Skywalker, powerful Jedi you both are, yet unpredictable and dangerous you can be. To both your friends and enemies." Master Yoda informed us. "For Obi-Wan, on your patience everything depends."
My stomach churned at his words. He believes that we're dangerous and unpredictable? Was that true? Anakin raised an eyebrow. "What if he needs our help?"
"Hmm. If you leave, help him you could. But his future, uncertain is. Trust in Obi-Wan we must." Master Yoda informed us.
Once we left Master Yoda's room, Anakin and I walked through the hallways of the temple with a mixture of emotions. I felt betrayed that the Jedi Council didn't trust us enough to tell us their plan. But what devastated me was the fact that Master Yoda called Anakin and me unpredictable and dangerous. Anakin clenched his fists. "I can't believe they didn't trust us enough to let us in on their plan."
"You don't think Master Yoda's right about us being dangerous?" I questioned.
At my words, Anakin turned around to face me. His face had softened at once. "No, absolutely not. We aren't dangerous to our friends, Storm. We've done everything to help the Republic."
I hesitated. "Have we? Everything we do is for the Republic and the Jedi Order is seen as being too reckless. I'm nothing more than a burden."
"Don't say that, Storm. You are far from a burden. You've done everything, nearly killing yourself, all for the name of the Republic. Sooner or later the Jedi Council will see everything we do is to help them out." Anakin assured me as he placed a hand on my shoulder. "Chancellor was quick to recognize your actions. If only the Jedi Order was more like him, things would be differently..."
