Once I landed on Ilum, I walked out with Echo's body in my arms. I wanted to give him the proper burial that he deserved. I buried his body by the mountains near the crystal caves. I then placed Myda's lightsaber on top of the burial. Tears streamed down my cheeks.
"I love you, darling. I won't forget you, Echo. Thank you for reminding me who I am. I wish you were still here, but I'm glad you didn't let me become the very thing I'm meant to destroy." I mentioned. "I'll do my best to move on. Thank you, Echo, for everything."
I then heard a hooting from above me. I looked up to see Morai flying around me. I wore a smile, knowing somehow everything would be all right. I gave the Echo's burial one last look before leaving. I found Kina, Gida, and Tarom by my ship. Their ships were right next to mine. Their eyes lit up as soon as they saw me. "Storm!"
"We're so glad to see you alive and well." Gida commented.
"It's good to see you all too." I replied, giving them a smile. "Where have you all been?"
"I was on Ryloth, helping my people against the Empire. My sister, Numa, and Uncle Nilim Bril are both all right. They're in hiding." Gida informed me. "The Inquisitors found me, but I managed to escape them."
"It's a relief you're all right." Tarom stated, looking over at Gida with a worried look. "I was on Carlac. A tribe of Ming Po took me in, hiding me. But a year passed and the Empire took over the planet, enslaving the people. I had no other choice but to leave."
"I was on Mandalore, laying low, and helping smuggle citizens off of the planet." Kina mentioned. "I helped some of the locals go underground to start a rebellion, but the numbers are still small. They'll need serious help if they think about overthrowing the Imperial presence on their planet."
"What about you, Storm?" Tarom asked.
"I moved around quite a bit. I was on a planet, where there was no one but creatures. I met a strange person, who called himself the Bendu. He helped me deepen my connection with the Force. Unfortunately I had to leave, because he warned me that I would soon be found." I explained. "I then fled to Lothal, meeting a family, they were very kind, offering me to stay in their home. I helped them with broadcasting transmissions speaking out against the Empire's rule, making sure that not just everyone in Lothal could hear their words, but other planets in the Outer Rim as well. I wish I could've stayed, they had a child, who's strong in the Force..."
We all exchanged grim looks at my final words. Finally after what felt like a while, Gida asked the question that all of us thought, but didn't dare to say out loud. "What do you think will happen to all the Force-sensitive children across the galaxy?"
Kina hesitated. "I don't know, Gida. For
"Hey guys, I hate to break up our chat, but we've got company." Tarom warned.
At that moment, we saw the Grand Inquisitor again, the Eighth Brother formerly known as Syko Lorn, a Terrelian Jango Jumper, Sixth Brother, the Seventh Sister again, the Fifth Brother known as Daro Halcyon, the Ninth Sister, a Dowutin, formerly known as Jedi Master Masana Tide, along with a few others I didn't recognize. They all made their way towards, surrounding us in a matter of moments.
"You can't outrun us, Storm. You will perish like your father on Batuu." The Grand Inquisitor taunted.
"That's a lie!" I snapped.
My stomach churned. It had to be a lie. I would've felt his death if the Grand Inquisitor had truly killed him. And yet he stood here. I didn't know what to think anymore, making me devastating. Could this day get any worse?
"Where's your friend, I believed you called him Tenth Brother?" Kina questioned, changing the subject.
"Why don't you ask your friend, Ca'ana." The Seventh Sister retorted.
Kina's eyes widened. "You killed him?"
"Yeah, I was going to mention that, but then these want to be Sith Lords decided to crash our party." I clarified.
"Want to be Sith Lords?!" The Inquisitors all exclaimed as their anger quickly rose.
"Take that back!" The Seventh Sister hissed.
"Or what?" I inquired, challenging her.
"We don't want to antagonize them, Storm. Please don't try to upset them more than they already are." Kina advised.
"Too late for that." Gida mumbled.
"There's too many of them. We'll never be able to fight them all at once." Tarom mentioned.
We should run." Kina suggested.
I nodded. "Agreed."
Together, we all extended out hands, reaching out to the Force. We combined our power, knocking back all the Inquisitors, causing them to fall into the deep snow. The four of us then ran off in an attempt to get away from them. However, they were quick to follow our tracks. Great, I guess this day could get worse. But little did I know where this day would lead us...
