It wasn't until we reached our destination. We pushed the lid off, getting out to see Obi-Wan, Gida, Cody, and the rest of their troops.
"Waxer, Boil. Where have you two slackers been?" Cody questioned with a stern tone.
Obi-Wan and Gida wore relieved looks upon seeing me.
"Storm, there you are." Gida said.
"We were worried something happened to you." Obi-Wan added.
"Sir, there is an explanation. We got sidetracked." Waxer explained.
At that moment, Numa appeared from behind me. She wore a shy look as she glanced around at the others. Obi-Wan wore an amused look. "I think I see what sidetracked you."
Obi-Wan made his way towards us, kneeling before Numa. "Hello, little one."
"She brought us here through the tunnels." I informed them.
"Knows her way around them pretty good, sir." Boil added.
Obi-Wan then spoke to Twi'lek to Numa, asking if she could lead us through the tunnel where the prisoners were, which Numa said she could. Obi-Wan then turned to the others. "The girl can lead us through the tunnel to the prisoners."
Numa's eyes lit up when she saw Gida. "Gida!"
Gida wore a relived look upon seeing her. "Numa!"
Numa rushed over Gida, giving her a tight hug. Gida's smile widened as she hugged her back. "Oh thank the Force, you're alright Numa!"
"You know her?" Boil asked, rather baffled.
"She's my sister. She and my uncle Nilim Bril are the only family I have left." Gida explained.
That explains why she knows me. I cracked a smile. "And by any chance have you mentioned me to Numa?"
Gıda nodded. "Of course. I've told Numa about you, Kina, Tarom, and a couple of our friends."
"Cody, we're going to need a diversion." Obi-Wan urged.
Once we went over the plan, Obi-Wan and I moved to free the Twi'leks, while Cody, Gida, and their troops attacked the army, giving us a distraction. The few droids that were guarding the prisoners were destroyed by us. After we freed them from their restraints, Obi-Wan and I urged them to follow us. "Wachamio, wachamio!"
With that, they quickly followed us into a safe place. I watched as a Twi'lek male with blue skin greet Numa with open arms. "Numa!"
No doubt that was Gida's and Numa's uncle, Nilim Bril. I then rejoined Obi-Wan and the others, fighting back. We managed to destroy the cannons, while the Twi'leks destroyed the droid General. Once Master Windu, Tarom, and his forces arrived, Obi-Wan, Gida, and I approached them.
"Great job getting rid of those cannons." Master Windu praised. "Now we have a more difficult objective. We must take the capital and free this world."
We then spotted Numa. Boil, Waxer, Gida, and I approached her. Waxer was the first to speak up. "See ya later, little one."
He then gently patted her head. Once he walked off, Boil got her attention. "Hey, numa. Stay out of trouble."
She then ran over, giving him a hug before turning towards me. She gave me a smile before hugging me. My smile widened as I hugged her back.
"She's taken quite the liking towards you." Gida commented as she approached us.
"What can I say? I've got a way with kids." I replied.
As Numa glanced over at Gida, tears filled her eyes. I gently patted her head, giving her a smile, not wanting for her to cry. "Don't be worry. We'll be back."
