Chapter 14: The First Battle of Geonosis

The creatures moved their way towards us as the guards forced them to come our way.

"Just relax. Concentrate." Obi-Wan suggested.

"What about Padmé?" Anakin asked.

"And Koltav, Korste, and my grandma?" I inquired.

"They seems to be on top of things." Obi-Wan commented.

I glanced over to see Padmé, my grandma, Koltav, and Korste climbing up the pillar. I was dumbfounded. How did they free themselves from the chains? One of the red reeks charged towards Anakin, while the other rushed over towards Korste. The two acklays with six claws and razor sharp teeth made its way towards Obi-Wan and Koltav. The two red eyed nexuses with sharp quills headed for Padmé and me. The massiff headed straight for my grandma.

I took a deep breath as I reached out to the force, letting it calm me as the nexus charged at me all full speed. At the last minute, I jumped to the side as one of its sharp claws struck the chain, breaking me free. Unfortunately my hands were still cuffed together. The nexus became enraged as it whipped around to face me. It growled before charging towards me. I waited patiently until the last moment possible before jumping up and over the nexus. As I turned around the nexus tried to lunge towards me but at the last moment was trampled by a reek. Rather confused, I glanced up to see Koltav on its back along with Korste and my grandma.

"Hop on!" Koltav exclaimed, sounding anxious.

I could sense his fear, but he tried to cover it up on his face. I didn't waste any time, jumping onto the back of the reek. We made our way towards the other reek with Anakin, Padmé, and Obi-Wan on its back. It was at that moment that droidekas surrounded us, leaving us with no way to escape. I then sensed something...or rather someone. Rather confused I glanced up to where Dooku was, to see Master Windu with his purple lightsaber right next to Dooku's neck. My face lit up. "Master Windu's here."

"And he's not alone." Koltav commented. 

I looked around to see many Jedi Masters, Jedi Knights, and even padawans in the arena, causing the Geonosisians to flee. My smile widened. "You were right, Koltav. We're getting out of here."

The droids quickly doubled in size as the Jedi commenced to fight, Master Windu quickly joining them. I looked around anxiously as two Jedi gave Obi-Wan and Anakin their lightsabers. I need to get these cuffs off...and retrieve my weapons. 

"Hey sis! You looking for these?!" 

I whipped around to see both my sisters, Jinx and Maya. Jinx had my lightsaber while Maya had my Echani vibrosword and vibro-knifes. I was so glad to see them. I chuckled. "You have no idea how happy I am to see you both."

"Oh sure, you're only saying that 'cause we have your weapons." Jinx teased.

"Alright I think we've teased her enough...for now." Maya intervened as she tossed me my Echani vibrosword and vibro-knifes. 

"Thanks Maya." I replied before turning to Jinx with a raised eyebrow. "Jinx? My lightsaber, please."

Jinx sighed but nevertheless threw me my lightsaber. "Fine, but as soon as we get back to the temple I'll finish my teasing there."

"Of course you would." I commented trying to hide back a smile but failing.

I quickly cut off the cuffs around my wrists with my lightsaber before jumping down off the reek. Koltav, Korste, and my grandma followed my lead, standing beside me.

"Maya, Jinx, please protect grandma. I would protect her myself but I need to keep an eye on Koltav and Korste. I have a duty to keep." I explained.
