I glanced around finding myself on Acherin in one of the planet's canyon. What was I doing here? I then heard a familiar voice cry out to me. "Storm, help me!"
I turned around to see Maya lying on the ground. Behind her stood Jinx in black robes with yellow glowing eyes. She took out her lightsaber before igniting it, revealing a blood red blade.
"No one will be able to save you now, Maya." Jinx mentioned.
"Jinx, don't do this." Maya begged.
"My name is now Lady Ucra." Jinx corrected.
I then heard a voice in my head. "It's not too late, my child. You can still stop this from happening. You can still save Maya, your sister."
The voice sounded like Dooku, but for some reason he sounded somewhat different. I furrowed my brows. "How?"
"Come to Coruscant and I will guide you to where Jinx is." The voice informed me.
"Hurry Storm, time is running out. And soon, I'll kill our beloved sister." Jinx taunted.
I let out a gasp as my eyes fluttered open. Once my eyes were open, I saw a woman with copper skin, purple eyes, a lavender suit, along with a headpiece covering her hair, and a man with copper skin, short dark black hair, blue eyes, yellow tunic, and beige pants, standing in front of me.
"Are you all right?" The woman asked me.
I furrowed my brows. Who were these people? Before I could speak, I noticed the man's eyes fall on my lightsaber that hung around my belt. His eyes widened. "You're a Jedi."
My stomach dropped. I remember Bail telling me that Palpatine announced all Jedi to be enemies of the Empire. And no doubt Palpatine would find ways to justify us being enemies to his wrecked Empire. I let out a sigh. "Yes, I am."
"You should come inside with us. You shouldn't be walking out so freely." The woman mentioned.
All right...totally wasn't expecting that. I thought they'd turn me into the clone troopers for sure. I raised an eyebrow. "W-who are you people?"
"I am Ephraim and this is my wife, Mira Bridger." The man informed me. "Come with us."
At that moment, I saw a couple of clone troopers heading in our direction. Having no other choice, I decided to follow them into their home. Once we were inside, I made my way into the living room where the HoloNet News was playing. A woman spoke up. "Now remember if anyone has seen a Jedi, contact the local authorities. They are dangerous criminals."
My blood boiled at her words. We are not criminals nor are we dangerous. They then showed several posters marked wanted. Amongst the posters, I found my poster branded with the word wanted. Wanted...so this is what has become of my life. I turned around to see Ephraim and Mira looking at the wanted posters, but they didn't manage to see mine. I don't understand why did they help me?
"Why did you help me? You could've given me up to the clone troopers. Why let me into your home? I'm a stranger." I protested.
"Yes, but we know that not all Jedi are bad." Mira pointed out. "The Jedi have helped many people, including our own."
"Many years before the Clone Wars began, Lothal was dealing with a criminal syndicate that came from another planet in the Outer Rim. The Supreme Chancellor along with numerous senators refused to help us, but two Jedi decided to help our planet, regardless of the Senate's decision." Ephraim explained.
"Do you know who these two Jedi were?" I inquired.
"My father told me he met them, personally thanking them. Their names Qui-Gon Jinn and Dooku." Ephraim informed me. "They were good Jedi."
