Chapter 3 everyone !! And I apologize if the stories are too long. Again , I'm writing these through a Notes app on mobile and copy and pasting it here so I don't see the length till its posted. Anyways picking up where I said I would. Levinia's POV. - Torii

Gosh , Peete didn't know one thing about privacy ! But , mom and and dad should've locked their door. I'm just glad I knew what was going on so I knew not to look. Instead I kept my eyes closed shut tightly while I covered Peete's eyes and mouth while dragging him out. After the doors closed I drag him away from the door and I begin to yell.
"Don't you know how to knock ?!" He puts on a innocent face that always gets me. "I just wanted mommy to sing to me so I can take a nap". I sigh at the fact that I just yelled at him. "How about I sing you to bed?". He smiles at that. I have a good voice as well as my mother. I mean I get inherited from her. Once Peete's in bed I cover him with his blue with red swirlies blanket.
"What song does mommy usually sing to you"
"I don't know , they're different sometimes". I sigh and begin to think as I bring over a small yellow chair next to his bed and squat down to sit on it. The first song that comes to mind is Safe and Sound. A song from 2012. The music today doesn't have lyrics and the best music was in the early 2000's so the radio stations and all play those songs along with our lyricless music we have today. I begin to sing the chorus as soothing as I can.
"Just close your eyes. The sun is going down. You'll be alright , no one can hurt you now. Come morning light , you and I'll be safe and sound." I look at him to see if he's still awake and he whispers with his eyes closed "More". I smile and continue on.
"Don't you dare look out your window darling everything's on fire. The war outside our door keeps raging on. Hold on to this lullaby. Even when the music's gone. Gone." After the second verse I repeat the chorus once more to make sure he really is asleep. When I finish I plant a gentle kiss on his forehead. I get up and head for the door and close it slowly trying not to make noise. I look up from the knob and see my parents walking out of there room smiling. I try not to think about what they've just done cause really , its gross that I even knew what was going on when I left that room. Instead a give a them a look of "busted".

Wow. That felt like the first time. It felt electrifying. It felt amazing. I can't quite describe it though , but it felt like more than love. Peeta and I make our way outside our room into the hallway. I look over to him with a loving smile which makes him smile. We see Levinia coming out of Peete's room from 2 rooms down the hall and closing the door to Peete's room slowly not to make any noise. She turns around to face me and Peeta. She crosses her arms and shifts her weight to her right side and gives us a smirk while
she speaks "Peete's asleep" and walks away. And Peeta laughs and shakes his head before shouting sarcasticly "Thank you! " and Levinia barely replying "Mmhhmm" as she's half way down the stairs that curve out to the right just a bit. Peeta heads over to the bathroom while I look at the time from the clock on the wall. What? Already 5pm? Today went by faster than I thought. Peeta comes down a few minutes later and begins to make dinner. As soon as its done I can't wait to dig in , but Peeta says its still hot so I have to wait 10 minutes before eating. Dinner is a lot better than breakfast. And I'm not talking about the food , although it is delicious , but the family. Peeta sitting directly in front of me , Levinia by his side , and Peete by my side. Were all listening to Levinia tell us about how girls and guys tell her , her parents are hot when they see pictures of us in text books or anywhere else in school. Peeta and I can't help but laugh. And the rest of the night goes on happily.
