(Levinia)

"I said no." Haymitch says, keeping his patience.

"Why?" I question in annoyance

"Because, I know your parents wouldn't want you two there right now."

"What if I ask them?" Peete asks, butting in the conversation.

"Don't bother them." Haymitch answers.

"What if I ask them?" I say, emphasizing the "I". Haymitch looks at me as if deciding something, and looks around before finally saying:

"Go for it." with a smirk. Why is he smirking? I pull my phone from the pocket on my black pull over jacket I'm wearing. I dial the number from where I am and wait for it to ring. When it does the weirdest thing happens. I hear the exact ringing noise that my dad has on his phone, coming from upstairs. I look at Haymitch, who's smiling at me. No wonder he was smirking. I pull the phone from my ear and hang up while giving him a scowl.

"You do that just like your mother." He says, chuckling. I loose the scowl and roll my eyes. I dial the number to the District 12 hospital, hoping I could find them.

"Hospital of District 12. How may I help you?" A prepy, girl voice says. I walk away from the kitchen and march upstairs into my room.

"Is there a way you could connect me to a patient there at the hospital?" I ask. In each room there's a phone on the wall. There has to be a way to contact them.

"Of course. What is the name of the patient?"

"Katniss Mellark." I answer. The women hums for a few seconds, I guess trying to find my mom.

"Katniss Mellark is in the Women's Health and Pregnancy Care building. I'll transfer you over to her room."

"Thank you, so much." I say, letting out a breathe of relief.

"You're welcome. By any chance, are you the daughter of Katniss Mellark, Levinia." She asks politely.

"Yes, ma'am I am." I respond, nicely. "Could you transfer me over now please?"

"Oh, yes.", are her last words I hear before another ringing noise, then my dads voice takes over

"Hello?"

"Dad!" I say, a bit loudly of excitement. I have way to many questions I need to ask right now. When Haymitch told me about my mom this morning my heart sunk. I even felt my eyes water some. Peete was still sleeping when Haymitch told me, only about 10 minutes after my parents have left, so he doesn't know where my parents are or why they're gone.

"Levinia?" My dad asks as if its a huge surprise.

"Is mom okay?" I ask impatiently.

"Your mother's fine. She's resting"

"How are the twins?"

"They just did an ultrasound on her, two actually, but they're fine and unharmed."

"Do you know whats wrong with her yet and why she was bleeding?"

"The doctor's going to look it over right now, but he had an idea of what it was."

"Is she still bleeding?"

"Wow, someone has a lot of questions." He says, jokingly. I'm able to get out a giggle through all that's going through my head.

"I'm sorry, I'm just really worried."

"I know you are. So am I."

"Could we visit?" I say with hope in it.
