(Peeta)

Screaming. I hear screaming. The screaming that woke me from my sleep. It's not Katniss screaming. Katniss is looking at me with fear. We both jolt up. We both rush to throw on at lease a piece or two of clothing. Well me at least. I just put on my boxers and some shorts. Katniss' night gown is too short she has to put on underwear and puts one of my shirts over her nightgown because it shows too much for our children to see. Just as were finishing the screaming stops. We both still rush down the hall. It's not Levinia. The doors wide open and she's not even in there. We go to the only other place we'd expect the noise to come, and were right. It's Peete. Levinia is sitting on his bed beside him. Peete has his face in her shirt. She's soothing him and assuring him it doesn't exist. Peete doesn't see us because his eyes are closed tightly with a few tears down his cheek, but Levinia does see us and looks at us with worry. Were about to walk over to them but Levinia holds out a hand for us to stop letting us know she has it under control. She's so good with kids. It's a characteristic Katniss and I both have. Katniss practically raised Primrose on her own and I have always been a people person and wanted kids of my own with her. We step out and wait out in the hallway. You can barely here it, but Levinia is singing Peete a lullaby. God, she has such an amazing voice. Any tune that came out of her mouth sounded beautiful. She definitley got this gift from her mother. She has so much talent. She sing, cheers, does gymnastics, art, and and is pretty good with weapons like her mother along with her feistyness. Peete is also great with weapons. He has killer aim and has all the hunting instincts like Katniss. Levinia, not so much. She has a good eye, but that's mainly because of art, and has quiet feet which is about as far as that goes with the hunting for her. Levinia is actually more like me and Peete is more like Katniss. Katniss and I stand beside each other next to Peete's bedroom door. I comfort her cause I know how worried she is about Peete. The door opens slowly and Levinia quietly slips out and closes it carefully. Katniss and I look at her waiting for her to say something.

"It was just a nightmare." She says calmly.

"Did he tell you what it was about?" Katniss asks eagerly.

"The games" She sighs. We told Peete about the games a few months ago. He's had 3 nightmares within that time but he hasn't had it in a while, he hasn't screamed out loud since his first nightmare so this one must've been pretty bad. Katniss sighs deeply and hangs her head. I know she's about to blame herself. I move myself in front of her and hold her waist and lift her chin so she's looking at me.

"Hey, this is NOT your fault." I say in a assuring voice.

"Yes it is. I knew we should have waited."

"Waited for what?" I question. I think our timing was good.

"Mom, you did a better job with him than you did with me." Levinia says trying to help me out. She's right. I think we waited too long to tell Levinia even though it was only a year before we told Peete. She was 8, and she found out at her friends house when they were flipping through the channels and found a documentary on the rebellion and Katniss and I were of course the stars of that showing. She came home and she wasn't looking at us the same way. She had a face of horror towards us the rest of the night and didn't talk to us. Before she went to bed we talked to her and asked her what was wrong. She told us she found out about the rebellion and us. Luckily, that was all she knew, and not that we played a role in the games, but that night we told her, and she had a dreambor two of it, nothing serious like screaming or crying, but they did startle her a little. I let Katniss know that Levinia is right by nodding my head.

"I guess, but that doesn't change the fact that he's still living with nightmares."

"He'll be fine."
