We get back into our rooms were staying in for the night around 9:30, but I let Levinia stay until midnight when the party ends. Were in the same building and she's with Annie, Finn and Johanna so she's safe. That and she begged Peeta so we all know how that goes. Peete goes to bed on his own cause he's that tired and he's slowly growing up. Peeta and I shower off all the make up together and get back to our normal selves. I put on a silky maroon night gown. The lump from my stomach makes it rise right where my underwear begins. Peeta, as always, is just wearing his briefs. But they're black this time.
"Woah. Hot outfit." He says checking me out.
"It's the same as the last time I wore it." I reassure.
"Except this time its a little more..." He moves his hands down my bottom looking at me hungrily."revealing." He finishes. I wrap my arms around his waist to bring him as close as my belly will let me.
"That's because of the lump between us." I say. He lifts up my nightgown just under my breasts and above my belly.
He rests it there and cups my stomach as he kneels down on both knees in front of me.
"Why must you make me wait?" He questions the babies. Right at that moment I feel the kicks at both sides of my stomach. How is that possible? I move his hands to the spot and his smile is wide and handsome.
"So tell me. Are you guys boys or girls?" He asks my stomach. I laugh and so does he. "1 kick for girls, 2 kicks for boys." He adds. I feel the kicks and Peeta does too cause he counts them.
"3 ?" He questions.
"Peeta they can't understand you." I point out.
"You never know. 3 kicks. Maybe they're telling us something." He says getting up from his knees, but not before kissing my belly one last time. "So when's your next appointment?"
"I can't remember. It's on the calender back home, but I wanna find out the gender now." I whine.
"I know. I do too." He pauses for a little and then his eyes widen.
"What?" I ask, knowing he's up to something.
"Why don't we find out here?" I look at him like he's joking. "I'm serious. You're almost 5 months and they'll do anything we ask here in the Capitol. Maybe even back home too, but here its not a question."
"Peeta, we leave tomorrow" I say.
"So, we'll do it before we leave. And the kids wanted to be there right?" He pleads. I sigh and think, though I don't know why. It's a great idea.
"Okay." I nod "We'll do it." Peeta smiles and gives me a nice kiss. He helps me into bed. When were both comfortable theres a knock at the door. I sigh and cover up my chest with the blanket before Peeta allows the person to come in. The door opens and its Levinia. She's not dressed up. She's in comfortable shorts and a tank top as always and her hair is In a ponytail with the curls still there and bright pink socks on, but no make up. She notices that we were about to go to sleep.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I was just letting you guys know I'm okay and I'm going to bed." She says a little awkwardly, like somethings bothering her.
"Okay. I thought you'd stay out later?" I say. It's only almost 10:30.
"Yeah, I just got tired." She replies. I nod my head. "Well, uh, night." She says before closing the door. Peeta and I lay there quietly, holding each other. Then, I ask the most random question before thinking:
"Are you in the mood?"
Peeta laughs but replies. "I was kind of enjoying our moment we were having, but if you want to do a little, I'm not complaining." He says with a smirk. I wasn't exactly in the mood, but now I am. I right away put my lips on his and straddle him as I get on top of him slowly. Our tongues are just beginning to wrestle when our hands intertwine with eachother's. We stay in this position, with me ontop and frenching him, until I feel him harden beneath me. I stop us and smile.
