Shoot Me - Seungjin

Seungmin and Hyunjin had been dating for about a year. At first, everything went well with their relationship. They often went on dates and spent so much time with each other that they were practically inseparable.

But, happiness doesn't last forever. It never does.

It all started with a simple quarrel for something stupid. Seungmin didn't even remember. Why? Because their quarreling became a part of their daily lives. Whether it'd be about something trivial like who should fix the bed in the morning, who should make breakfast or who should wash the dishes, Seungmin and Hyunjin argued every single day. Each quarrel was destroying their relationship piece by piece.

That's why Seungmin was walking alone during the night with his earbuds in his ears, blasting music on full volume.

"Yeah just shoot me,
Bang bang
Your bullet bullet bullet
I'll take it anytime..."

Hyunjin's sharp words always felt like bullets to Seungmin and the younger wondered if the pain from a real bullet was as strong as the pain he felt from the words his boyfriend fired at him.

But despite the fact that Hyunjin's words hurt him, Seungmin never stopped loving him. He was okay, as long as they were together.

However, happy endings don't exist. One day Hyunjin had said the words that Seungmin dreaded the most.

"We're over."

And Seungmin hoped that he'd heard wrong, or maybe that he was simply having a nightmare and would soon wake up next to the person he loved the most. But he didn't hear wrong and he wasn't having a nightmare. It was real.

Seungmin wanted Hyunjin back. Even if they constantly quarreled. Even if Hyunjin kept hurting him with harsh words. He loved him and he couldn't imagine his life without his boyfriend.

But for now, he would try to drown the pain with music.

"Just shoot toward me
Bang bang
That's better anyway
I'm so used to this now
If this makes you feel better
Just shoot me
Shoot me."
