Ella's P.O.V.

I turn and take to the sky. This is my last night. This is my destiny. This is what I was born to do. Kill Tristan and save the world. This explains why everyone always treated me like a fragile girl. They never wanted me to learn to fight to prevent me from doing this. But I must. To avenge everyone who has ever died in the hands of a slayer. I think.

I look down on all the warriors. They are all dying to save the existences of both kinds. After my death, I hope that they'll learn what I have. I think.

So unsure in your strength, Eleanor? Asked the voice.

He is as or even more powerful than I am. But I will make sure his fate is sealed. I answer.

The reasons, I have discovered, that you have been able to survive for this long is that you have confidence and strength and determination for things to get better. You also have love. That is something your opponent has forgotten. Dustin has been able to open your heart. The vampire and werewolf have united. It says.

I need to unite with the slayer. But how? I think.

"Oh, the little electus unus decided to come alone." Laughed Tristan.

"As it is written in prophecy." I retaliate.

"You know you are meant to die. But what you do not know is that I am meant to live." He says.

"I don't know about that, I'm a very good fighter." I decided to play along with his little game.

"But no proper training is not what makes a good fighter." He grins.

"How were you able to know all of our secrets?" I ask.

"Now you're not here to know that. You're here to die." A black mist starts to surround his body. It makes him rise in the air. "Come now Eleanor."

I fly up. I was a few yards in front of him. From his nose up it looked as if it was all skull and hair with the eyes still in the sockets. It looked strange. He was still wearing the tuxedo from the dance.

"Naive, little princess." He says slowly. "Daddy's baby girl is going to die in front of everyone. No one can save you."

"Same for you. Except my father is still living." I say. I must break him from the inside.

"He's a tortured soul that shall never be truly living." He yells as he hurtles an energy ball at me.

I dodge swiftly. "How did he die, the truth?" I ask.

"He died by one of you. A cursed vampire drained his blood. Right in front of my eyes." He sends an energy beam.

I dodge. "So that's why you hate me so much. Just because one of my kind killed your father."

"They nearly killed me as well. The stupid creature spared my life. The idiot, as soon as it turned I killed it." He laughed.

"You're not forgiving like we are. You're a murderer." I yelled. I went to knock him out of the sky. He hits me with an energy ball before I could get close enough.
