Don't promise forever, promise to be with me on my today instead....

Mingkwan was jolted awake by a beautiful dream. But he can't remember the content of the dream, though he knows its beautiful for he felt lighter.

Mingkwan checked the time and was shocked when he realized its nine in the morning already. He always woke up early, his body followed the routine like that.

A smile spread on Ming's face when he remembered Kit sleeping on his house, worried that the younger man left without informing him, Mingkwan fly to his bathroom to wash up. He checked the healing wound on his body, they are healing perfectly.

He knocked on the room Kit occupied last night but nobody's opening up. Frowning, Mingkwan open the unlocked door but Kit is not inside. The bed is made as if no one slept on it.

He walked down the stairs dejectedly, shoulders slumped down like a puppy.
He thought he can ditch work today and spend the day with Kit but the plan is ruined because he woke up late. Its himself to blame isn't it? But.. He never had good sleep since he woke up from the hospital. His dreams are always turned into nightmares leaving him not wanting to fall asleep anymore.

But the thing is, even those nightmares never stayed on his mind, he can't recall any once he is up sweaty and panting for breath.

He dejectedly go down with his face looking gloomy.
Ming perked up like a puppy when he heard laughter coming from the kitchen.
Mingkwan was assaulted by a beautiful smile. A smile so bright making the room light up..making Mingkwan smile unconsciously. He paused for a bit to appreciate the dimpled smile that never been given to him freely.
He can feel a pang of jealousy for Lila his housekeeper because she received Kit's fun side without trying.

Kit is leaning against the counter with his back on Ming as he watched Lila cooked something.

The smell of bacon and sausages are all over the place making Mingkwan's stomach growl in hunger.
He wanted to make his presence known but for some reasons he stayed quiet.
"So where are you going to work now that you are done in college?." Lila's kind motherly voice asked Kit.

"I'm not sure yet auntie, I'll look for different companies then I will decide." Kit replied after putting a piece of bacon on his mouth.

"You are not going to work on Mingkwan's?."

Kit became silent when Lila asked him the question. He looked on his feet like looking for the answer from the floor.

Lila sighed before putting down the plates of steaming breakfast.
"Are you mad at him?."

"The truth is I'm more hurt than mad."

"But its not his fault."

"I know, I know Auntie...but maybe I'm just childish or sensitive...hmm"

"I can understand that...oh Mingkwan, up late?" Lila noticed Mingkwan standing at the doorway of the kitchen.

"Yes auntie." Ming answered.
He looked at kit but the latter picked up a plate of food then walked pass by without acknowledging  Mingkwan.

Auntie Lila gave Ming a looked before giving him a plate.
"Go." The kind old lady who've been taking care of Ming shooed him to the dining room.

Mingkwan don't have any idea what is the right aproach ..never in his life he is walking on thin ice for other people.

He sat down in front of Kit who started eating without waiting for him.
