The things we hated to hear, are the things we needed to hear....

Mingkwan's fists clenched tightly on his sides. He hated what he is seeing. He hated that Beam's arm is holding Kit. His eyes zoomed in to Beam's dirty claws that like taunting him, tighten around Kit's waist.

Mingkwan is aware of curious and amused stares of Forth and Phana but he is too busy murdering Phana's little brother inside his head to even pay attention.

"I'm sorry P', me and Kit will be on our way now." Like an annoying son of a bitch, Beam left the three lopsided grin and a winked before dragging stunned Kit out of the room.

Beam pulled Kit outside the pool area where minimal visitors are loitering around.

Kit watched Beam hold his stomach as he laughed hysterically. Slapping his knees and Kit wondered if the idiot will roll on the floor laughing his ass off.

"Have you seen his face?" Beam asked between whizzing. He is laughing too much that tears already on his eyes.

"Who's face?, I'm too busy killing you in my mind to see what you saw." Kit rolled his eyes at his dumb best friend.

"Dude, don't play coy with me.. Mingkwan's face, have you notice how annoyed he is? I can tell he is plotting my demise already." Beam wiped his eyes still chuckling.

"He is just annoyed we disturbed them on their serious and boring business talk." Kit sat on one of the loungers beside the pool area.

"He is affected, his mind may not remember you but his heart is protesting, all he need is a little push from the right places." Beam occupied the lounge chair beside Kit.
The two looked at the water of the pool that seems dazzling like gems against the night. The reflection of the night lights that are shining against its reflection on the pool water.

"Beam."

"Hmm?"

"Should I wait?"

Beam glanced at Kit who is staring without blinking in the water. "Wait? That's out of the question Kit, show him who are you not wait idle in the side moping and wallowing on your sadness like some old man."

Kit's eyes sharpen throwing one pair of his shoe to Beam who caught it with eased." You know your idiomatic phrases are annoying as hell, where do you even pulled that out?"

"I'm a genius, still doubting it?" Beam throw back Kit's shoe.

"Genius my ass, you mean dumb and idiotic?"

"Try again, your vocabulary of insults are drying out."

"I have lots but they are to mediocre to described you." Kit replied laughing. "What do you think I should do?."

"I think I never asked you yet, do you love him? I mean, I never expected you falling for a guy and I thought maybe its too fast that suddenly you like him...don't you think?" Beam trailed.

Kit sighed, clasping his fingers over his head." Is there any specific span of time and perfect moment for a person to fall for another? What if that perfect moment is that time you are taking a pissed on a public toilet? Or while inside a packed bus..or standing the sidewalk? The truth is....when suddenly Mingkwan forgot about me..I'm thinking maybe this is a opportunity for me to forget about him...to start anew...to be normal but, every time I'm at rest, every time I stopped doing what I'm doing my mind would go back to Mingkwan and think how happy I am when I'm with him how I'm giddy to watch him laugh...I wanted to listen to him, to maybe found out those troubles he have..why he is lonely." Kit inhaled then breath out.

"Then what's the problem?, we only live once to worry about the things we didn't know if ever gonna happen, have you seen me? I defy my father because in the end of the day, this is my life..its my future..its not his, not my mom's not anyone else, if I started worrying about what will other people think of me..then I'll be living their happiness not mine right? I'm your friend and your brother Kit, I wanted to see you happy and contented ... I won't be taking care of you once we are old, I'll dumped your ass in the house for old people." Beam laughed.

"Fuck you! And here I am feeling so damn touched and you have to throw that shit right after your speech." Kit almost jump on Beam to choke his dumb ass.

"Stop being a grumpy uncle jeez, chill.''

"Chill?, sure." Kits smile became like that of a Cheshire cat as he stalked on Beam, pulling him up kicking him to the pool. Series of profanities filled the night as Beam curse in Kit's existence.

"What the fuck man!" Beam shiver as a night wind passed by.

Kit just laughed as he jump like a cannon ball.
A splash of water made the other guest take a look.
But the two are busy on drowning each other ignoring the others.

They laughed loudly taking Beam's parents attention.
His mom just shook her head to his husband signaling him to lett it be.

Mingkwan is absentmindedly listening to the other two while sipping on his glass of wine.
He doesn't like the reaction kit is conjuring from him. Like a match against the fire, he always reacts.
It doesn't sit well on him to be feeling jealous.

"Ming..Ming" Forth called his dazed cousin.

"Are you okay? ."

"I'm fine P', I think I should get going first..I'm not allowed to move this much yet." Mingkwan smiled lightly at the two peoples curious stare.

"Are you sure?" Phana asked.

"Of course, I'll stay longer next time." Ming stood up, putting his glass on the table.

"I'll drive you home." Forth made a move to follow Mingkwan.

"My driver is with me P' don't worry." Ming clasped his hand on the older men's shoulder before walking out.

There's only some people left inside, just old people that have connection on Vongviphan's business. Mingkwan was stopped too many times before they let him go. He passed by the glass wall that shown the pool outside. Mingkwan paused the exact time Kit push Phana's little brother to the cold pool.

Ming's eyes followed the laughter filled face of Kit as he play with Beam on the water like bunch of children without caring on the late night or that they are wearing fully clothes. Kits dimples are both visible as he splashed water on the laughing Beam.

Mingkwan haven't realized that he is smiling on the sight.

"Like some children huh?" Mingkwan was startled when someone suddenly talked beside him.
He saw Engineer Intochar with a glass of champagne on his hand while smiling fondly outside, to his son.

"Sir." Ming started but the older man just smile at him. The kind face with the laughed lines on his face that seems like a natural thing on him. He is a picture of a happy man.

"I should be punching you, but I think someone will be chewing my ass if I did that..I love seeing my son with all that laughter and smile..I thought I don't care if he will end up with Beam..they know each other more than anyone anyway don't you think." Ram turned to looked at Mingkwan' and he chuckled when he saw the young CEO frowning.

"You hate the idea isn't it? Hmm..you gotta be fast then son...because that child of mine..he is reckless and a coward and I'm afraid before you found the right answers it will be too late..." Ram smiled again, his eyes hides as he tapped Mingkwan's shoulder before walking away after throwing one more glanced outside, shaking his head as he do so.

Mingkwan was left on his own thought. He linger on for a bit basking on Kit's laughter before he left the Vongviphan's residence.
Two party is battling inside him. Find the truth or wait for the truth..

Then what should he do?
