With the following new year, time flew and it was already March. Though, it could be warmer but, the weather doesn't seem to want to change just yet.

With the weekend to ourselves, Irina pushed Karma and I out of the house and told us to relax. But I couldn't just sit back and do nothing, knowing time is a delicate thing. However, she insisted that Karasuma and herself will watch the kids and even Shi's. At least I know for a fact, that Shi and her husband also felt bad for leaving the kids, on a day-off that rarely happened.

"Na-gis-a." Karma flicked my forehead and chuckled, "we're on a date, cut loose. I know you're thinking about the kids, but even they didn't want us in the house."

It's true. When I said that I would rather stay home, both Mari and Naki didn't look pleased. I think it was more difficult for them to see us like this, then act selfish. Either way, our children are too kind for this world. I can only thank Koro-sensei who blessed us this opportunity, this life.

"But all we're doing is walking in the cold Karma." I nudged his arm, "it would be best to stop by a cafe, eat something." I said with a tease so that he could spoil me. But I said it more as a joke than anything.

"Alright princess. Anything you say." He made kissy sounds and laughed.
I giggled along, but it was cut short by loud whispering all around us.

"Hey hey, he's handsome, isn't he?"

I know that I'm not hearing things. I glanced around and saw clusters of girls in all directions, with red cheeks and glistening eyes. Not just from the mere chill of the weather.
I wonder if Karma can hear them too?
I looked up while we continued to walk and he didn't bat an eye. Is he serious? Can he not hear them?
Well, if it is like this, it's better if he can't hear them properly. These girls look like hungry high schoolers, impatient for fun in their life.

"Should we ask for his number?"

"No! You silly, look he's with someone."

"But that could just be a friend."

"Hey, what if he's actually older?"

"I love older guys, more mature you know?"

Each group we passed said something different.
No I'm not a friend. And yes he's older! Older enough to be your father if that's possible! He has kids and I'm his wife!
And that is what I wish to say out loud.
But even I can't win a battle with young girls who have more potential in the chest areas. Round and succulent, something that I lacked.

Karma finally tugged my arm and pointed at the cafe we were about to go in. Little Tea, was the name of the establishment. When we walked in, there was a wind of hospitality and imperturbability.
The light bulbs that dangled over each table was an aesthetic within itself.
There were creamy brown wooden floor and the small tables meant for loving couples.

"Table for two please." Karma said to the hostess.
The young lady blushed and diverted her gaze, leading the way to our table.

Once we sat down, she awkwardly stood and fumbled to place the menus on our table.
"M-my apologies." She squeamishly scurried away.

Karma kept his composed expression and opened the menu.
"You've been here with Kaede before correct? It has changed a bit since the old days." He brought up.
"I guess so." I said with an unsettling demeanor that even I found it disappointing.

I didn't care to open my menu. I'm still upset that Karma didn't hear anything. Those girls were loud and clear...but I guess I can't expect too much. But it would be nice to have him walk up to them and say that he's happily married.
