55 | Reset

I felt cushion underneath me. It was like I was laying on clouds. Am I dead? Where am I? Should I wake up?
I gradually opened my eyes and saw the brightness of impeccable white everywhere. I was sore all over and tried to move but, it took me some time. When I was able to sit up straight, right away I noticed I was in the hospital. I managed to escape death.

Then the door slid open.
Koro-sensei walked in and greeted me with a slight grin. He sat down on a green stool next to the bed. He handed me a glass of water and I took it. My throat was dry and my body felt weak.

"How long was I out for?" I questioned, glimpsing out the window.

"Two weeks max." He replied, "they fed you through a feeding tube, quite fancy if you ask me." He tried to make me laugh, it was no use.

"How bad was it?" I looked at him.

"Everything's gone." Koro-sensei sighed. "Data, reports-"

"Even the other projects?" I interrupted.

Koro-sensei tilted his head and stalled by looking at his hands. He finally spoke when I tried to remove the IV drip from my arm.

"No." He said, "I was able to save them before the explosion occurred."

"Y-you what?" I grabbed his slender wrist and a pinch pulsed through my arm.

"Don't move so much." He lightly pushed me back against the bed. "Get some rest."

"No wait. Please tell me tell me what you did with the projects." I pleaded.

Koro-sensei reached into his pocket and showed me a silver flash drive with the words written across. Project Ritsu.

"You know, I was a tad bit skeptical of allowing you to work at our facility when you arrived. The fact that you are Ritsu's older brother posed a great threat to our research."

"H-how did you know?" I questioned.

They must of found me out a long time ago. Then what was the point of even trying to hide my trail?

"Of course we figured it out right away. Don't you remember that it was a government sponsored lab? Surely you're not that much of a fool?" Koro-sensei patted my head. That hand that was stained with blood.

"I tried didn't I?" I joked to myself and found it aggravating. "I just wanted to see her again. Just knowing that she was detained against her will was too much for me." I confessed.

Koro-sensei walked towards the room door and opened it slightly. I saw a quick glance of a person on the other side of the door.

"I did say I went back to save them." He added. "What? You think I'm just a simple mad scientist that kidnaps children to make weapons out of them?"

Koro-sensei opened the door and a girl with pink shirt hair walked in. She was wearing a school girl's uniform and wore a small white bow in her hair. It's Ritsu.

She gradually approached the bed and she took exchanged eyes with Koro-sensei. He nodded his head and looked back at me.

"Hello brother." She spoke.

"H-hi..." I fell speechless.

Koro-sensei brought her memories back too? Was I seeing things? This is my little sister that I've been trying to save all this time? The artificial human that replaced who my sister was?
