21 | The Heart Speaks

The upcoming winter has once again made it back around. The first sight of falling snow was when I was walking back home with Sugino.
For me, the cold and snow all meant the same, a new year was approaching closer.
Even the snow flakes were beautifully presented through the layers of white.

Since time has gone by with a blink of an eye. I can proudly and safely say that I had been promoted to the same and respected rank as what Shi was previously before she had been moved up the ladder as well.

It also meant further investments and smaller projects towards the general Project Karma.
The testings outside of the facility has made the MD aware of what Karma could offer and the abilities he possesses, to be apart of their work.

Time had really been making a number on us. New changes means a new kind of future.
That also means a different future for us.

3 months ago, Karma was taken to the city where the MD was held in order to conduct data and experiments. I haven't seen him since. Just last month, Kaede had left for America for a role in a movie, casting as the secondary character of a romance movie.
With Sugino and I, we often meet up here and there. Though, he as a life of his own as well. Occasionally, he would offer to take me out to eat on free days and such.

I still haven't forgotten about that confession. However, it seems that he let it go a long time ago. He hasn't brought it up since that day.

Scratching that, it hasn't been all lonely for me. I have paid vacations more than ever until Karma gets back. When I am working, I'm training the new rookies that are hired as advisors. Koro-sensei thought that it would be good for me to know to teach as well as to be taught.

While I ramble on, I have to get ready! Apparently I'm having lunch with Koro-sensei about matter and schedules when Karma comes back.

"Ahh, Nagisa. Over here."

I found Koro-sensei in the midst of the crowd of people as he was already seated with someone else.

"Shi?"

"I forgot to tell you that she was coming too." Koro-sensei pointed out.

"Well. It was sudden." Shi sighed.

"My bad. Was the timing unapproachable?"

"It's alright. We are getting a paid vacation anyways. Its not like I can say no to something small as this." Shi picked up her menu.

"I wasn't busy anyways." I took a seat.

"We'll order first and the cut to the chase alright? Notes and pens?" Koro-sensei raised a brow.

"But of course. My journal too." I waved them in the air.

"That's my girl." He laughed.

"Gosh. Couldn't you just take notes of your phone?" Shi poked at my forehead and laughed.

"I could but-"

"Oh, it's not like you would take notes on your own phone anyways." Koro-sensei passive aggressively rolled his eyes at Shi.

"Fair enough." Shi kind of agreed to his statement.

After we ate, we went over scheduling and new alterations that could be useful to Karma. And because Shi is now the same rank as someone like Bitch-sensei, we don't need consent of the Board.
