<Nagisa>
I had just made it out of the shower and dropped all my night routines to go to sleep early. I'd figured that I would be able to sleep longer if I didn't drown myself with studies.

Then someone woke me up when I managed to finally close my eyes. Apparently I was not going to be able to sleep comfortably tonight. Not after the news Sugino brought when he pounded on my apartment door.

Both Sugino and I hopped into his red truck and raced down the streets to the hospital. The grave expression on his face, tore away at me. I was  nervous and really afraid of what had happened to her. But would I actually think that she would be that badly injured? She must be. Even Sugino wouldn't tell me what happened to her. He kept silent.

My body swayed side to side and these white glowing angels all hovered above me. They hooked me up with tubes and stuck needles into my arm. I couldn't feel it but, I knew what was happening. I began to drift off myself...my body wanted to sleep, sleep.

Working overtime with Koro-sensei at the lab, an alarm went off in the Project Death department. We both looked each other with the same expression. Will today be the day where the downcast of hell happens?

We bolted into the lab and saw Death with blood all over his hands and his white clothes. He looked at us with a malicious and evil eye. Death stood up and walked towards us. As I noticed that someone played with the buttons on the desk. The black cover that blocked out his world from ours, was off.

"Trying to escape?" Koro-sensei folded his arms, "or trying to get my attention?" He sighed.

"Could you say both?" He licked the blood on his hands so creepily. "Just enjoying myself."

"He wouldn't escape, not now." I pointed out. "I know what you're trying to plan. You're seeing the reaction rate of the facility. If you were to escape, you would want it to be when everyone is here." I exposed him.

"Ah, caught on haven't you?" He teased.

"It's obvious, you're goal is to do as much damage as you can." I replied.

Koro-sensei walked over to the desk with all the multifarious colors. He pressed the black one and the smoke in the dome blew in. Swallowing Death entirely.

"I didn't know you were a man to do that." Death randomly commented. "You gave him the power to create life. Are you an idiot?"

I looked over at Koro-sensei. Did Death manage to find out that Koro-sensei violated a taboo?

"You're a piece of work, you know that? Stop causing so much trouble. Do you want me to throw you aside like a broken machine?" Koro-sensei turned around, "at least I know for a fact that they deserve happiness together." Then he walked out of the lab.

I watched as the black fumes chocked Death. This device and method of punishment was meant to show Death that even if he was to attempt to break out it cause trouble, there is a consequence. He collapsed on his knees.

The irritation he possessed. Why was he so fixated on Koro-sensei? I don't know what we did wrong. Death used to be normal. More normal than this.
Nagisa. I envy and pity you.

When I came to work at 8:20am, Ms. Shizuka wasn't here yet. If I could remember, she said that she was taking the morning off and coming in the afternoon. That means more prep work for me.

I entered the dome to check on Karma. His aloof and lonely side of his. I've never seen him without that kind of expression.
I refreshed his programs for the morning and when I was closing him up, I noticed a carving along the inner parts of the steel. Is that a brand marking? What is that?
I ran my finger along it and noticed that it was the letter N. Hmm, that's strange. What could the N mean?

I closed him up and once I was about to leave. I heard Karma mutter something odd. Well it wasn't what he said...but rather why he talked in the first place.

"What did you say?" I grew amaze that he even spoke in the first place. I inched closer to him and hoped that he would talk again, so I could hear properly.

"Nagisa..."

That's what he said. He spoke of someone's name. Who's that? Wait, was it that blue haired girl from that time?
Karma raised his head and stood up. Looked at me briefly and strolled over to the glass wall. He placed his hand slowly so that it could meet with the glass. He stood there for a while.

Utterly speechless as I was, I followed him. What a break through! Well I guess. I've never seen him do such things!

"Karma! Can you hear me?" I tapped his back.
He clocked his head and grabbed ahold of my collar. The red fire in his eyes. I froze unable to move for a second. His whole demeanor changed in an instant.

I couldn't keep awake. I knew I was tired of trying to stay awake until I heard the update on Kaede. Sugino was pacing back and forth in the waiting lounge. We both faced anxiety like a boss level game.

"Nagisa." Sugino called my name and I slowly lifted up my head. "Take a rest. I'll tell you when the doctor comes." He placed his hand on my shoulder.

"But Kaede-"

"Nagisa, please." He looked at me with such pain in his eyes. I knew he wanted to me sleep because he didn't want me to see him in such a state. He didn't want any witnesses.

"Alright..." I patted his shoulder.

I leaned back into the chair and slouched a little. My body shut down and I fell asleep rather quickly. Like it was waiting for me to give the signal.
I dreamt of gray skies and rotting nature around me. How cruel my mind was. It had no mercy for me. I stood amongst the pool of red blood that rivered near my feet.

In front of me was a man. That man I knew all too well. My love. Karma with his hand out so I could reach it. Grab it and embrace him.
I stepped forward only to see that my feet was glued. Not glued but, being retrained by hands. Those hands were familiar. Like when I was pulled off the cliff to my demise.

I gazed over at Karma and saw how alone he was. He wanted me to join him. I wanted to go too. I felt a surge of a cold breeze that swept past me. I leaves dancing in the air and I saw that the blood had vanished. Those blood thirsty hands were gone too.

I ran. I ran towards Karma with all my might. He was growing more distant as I tried to get closer. Farther and farther away from me.
There was that instant where I almost had him. But it was all gone before I knew it. I couldn't grab his hand.

"Nagisa, I love you."
