Layla woke up in bed next to cal and smiled as she looked to him as he slept. She smiled as she ran a hand through her hair. Layla stood from her bed and sighed as she looked to cal. She walked off the bathroom and sighed as she how terrible that she looked. Layla knew that she felt off the last few days. She stood in the doorway and smiled as she looked to cal, she knew that he wasn't herself and she was worried over his mental health. She knew he was struggling over how he was struggling with loosing Matilda and finding out the truth about his mum. Layla knew she wanted to be there for cal but it was hard especially when he was pushing her away. Layla looked to cal and sighed, she was anxious knowing he might start to push her away to far.

Layla got to work later that morning. She rolled her eyes as she was Lola who was excited for Christmas. Layla walked into the staffroom as Lola walked in and looked to her and frowned. She could sense that there was something up with Layla "are you okay? You seem to be in a mood" Lola said as Layla looked to her and smiled "I'm fine, I just not in the mood for Christmas and that and I'm tired and not feeling well" Layla said as Lola looked to her and smiled "you would think that you were pregnant?" Lola said teasing Layla. Layla frowned as she looked to Lola worrying if she actually was pregnant.

Later that day, Layla stood in resus as cal walked in and smiled as he looked to her and smiled "hey, you left early this morning" he said as she looked to him and smiled "I had to come in, sorry" she said as he looked to her and nodded. He could tell that she was off. She friends to face him and smiled as she placed a hand on his cheek and smiled as she leant in and kissed "I'm fine" she said as he looked to her and smiled. Cal looked to her and smiled as he watched as she walked off to treat a patient. He knew there was something on her mind.

Later that day, Layla stood in the staff toilets as she looked down to a pregnancy test on the side. She looked to it and smiled as Lola walked into the bathroom and frowned as she saw the pregnancy test on the side "Are you?" She asked as Lola looked to her and smiled "I don't know, I don't know what to do" she said as Lola smiled as she picked up the test and handed it to her and smiled "you need to know" Lola said as Layla grabbed the test and looked to it and sighed as she saw it was positive.

"Well?" Lola asked as Layla smiled "positive, I don't know what to do. Cal is ready for a baby especially after Matilda" Layla said as Lola looked to her and smiled as she hugged her "it's going to be okay, your not alone" Lola said as Layla smiled to herself, not knowing what she was going to do.
