Chapter 9: Darttara Highlands

Magnus Island, an MMORPG that played by many kids to adults, of course he plays it too, though he was called Solo Player Azazel. He didn't have any comrades or party members, but he is too strong. Playing Magnus Island for 3 days straight was his life. He already reached his peak, level 300 which was considered a God in the game. But he had been transported to the another world, a world called Nixem, he then transported to a continent called Aeiris and currently an adventurer.

We then arrived at the foot of the highlands, there are villages on top of the highlands so we didn't need to worry about our camps at night.

We then climbed the highlands, the fresh wind hits my nose with no trace of pollution, its more good here than earth though.

[How much further is the village from here?] i asked Alice

[Um not far i think we will reach it within an hour.]

[Is that so?] i want to get out there quickly im tired of the trip! My butt is numb though.

After 1 hour we reached the village, the village isn't completely large, you may say that this village is where small tribes live.

A village elder comes out and greets us adventurers.

[Greeting adventurers, welcome to Puron Village, it may not be large but please do enjoy your stay] he then smiled at as.

He looked like a Hotel Attendant inviting us inside his worn down hotel, but the atmosphere here is so good and you want to just relax here.

Then someone shouts from behind...

[Hey old man! Where is the golems that we need to subjugate? Come on hurry up and guide us!]

The village elder surprised [A-ah yes in south from here, the border of our village, the golems will attack 1 hour from now.]

[Is that so? Come on lets go i don't want to stay in this crappy village!] he then walks to the south

[What a bastard!] i cursed him in my heart.

[Come on Azazel, lets go to the south.] Alice came from behind me and urged me to go south.

[All right lets go.]

Why isn't there a transfer gate here! Oh wait im in Nixem not in Magnus island, but is there any transfer circle here like in the game?

In Magnus island, like any other MMORPG there is a transfer circle to teleport from one place to another so you can do quests faster, but here there is none.

[Hey Alice, is there magic that can transfer people?] i asked her

She then puts her finger in her chin while thinking [Hmmm, i think there is a magic called "Gate" but you cannot learn it if you have low magic power.]

[Oh is that so? man i want to learn that.]

[You need to raise your magic power to be able to learn it, many great magicians and sages has been studying in ages but no one succeeded in learning it, so it would be likely impossible.]

Hoh? is that so, great magicians and sages huh?

[By the way what is the highest level a human can obtain?] i asked her

She then answered [ According to the books i read about leveling up, the highest for humans are level 80, then for demi-humans they are level 90 and elves too, then for demons are level 100, and for higher classes such as great magicians, saints, sages, and heroes are level 120, but above that no one reached the level not even heroes that trained to breakthrough level 120, above that if you obtained level 121 you are considered a demi-god and above level 200 you are considered God.]
