THE POWER OF TRUE LOVE

CHAPTER 12

ZOEY'S POV
All of us finished our breakfast and I looked at my wrist watch to see it was 10:30. "Guys I think we should start heading home. We're running a little late" I said to Crystal and others. They nodded and all 5 of us got up. "If you guys want, we can drop you" Miley said. "Oh no we don't want to bother you guys. We'll go by ourselves" Crystal replied with a small smile on her lips. "Oh no we won't be bothered. You guys are running late and we would be more than happy to help you" Mia said and to say I was surprised was an understatement. This was the first time she spoke normally to us instead of being overly sarcastic or humiliating us. "ok" I replied. If they wanted to drive us back home then what is the harm. All of us paid for our food and walked out of the restaurant. Their cars were parked on the road at the side of the restaurant. Me, Crystal, Ashley, Leah and Mia sat in Leah's car and Olivia, Rose, Sarah, Diana and Miley sat in Olivia's car. We had already told them our adress and now they were driving towards our house. The restaurant was around 20 mins from our house so we'll be home shortly.

ASHLEY'S POV
I rested my head backwards, at the seat. I had suddenly started feeling light headed and my eyes were slowly becoming heavy. "Ashley are you ok?" Leah asked from beside me. I nodded, regretting it immediately as my head was now moving in circles. "yeah, I'm just feeling a little dizzy" I said holding my head. "me too" Crystal said from the passenger seat. "same here" Zoey whispers from my other side. "well if you all want you can rest a little bit, we'll be at your house shortly" Mia said from the driver's seat. "yeah we'll wake you up once we reach there" Leah said and I nodded slightly. I placed my head back on the headrest and my eyes immediately closed, engulfing me in complete and silent darkness.

LEAH'S POV
I patted Crystal's shoulder to check if she was still conscious. She was not. I looked at Mia through the mirror and she gave me a thumbs up. Suddenly her phone rang and she picked it up. "yeah" she said while pressing the phone to her ear. "Good. We're clear too" she said with a huge grin on her face. She ended the call and looked at me through the rear view mirror. "It was Diana, they are clear" She said smirking. I smirked back. "perfect, now lets head home" I said turning the opposite direction. Olivia's car following close behind.

After 15 mins...
We reached our apartment and I turned the ignition off. I opened the door and got out of the car. Others got out of the car too. I walked over to the passenger seat and looked at the now unconscious Crystal, sleeping peacefully. Before I could control it a loud chuckle rumbled out of my throat. "what is it?" Mia said looking at me with a small smile and a raised eyebrow. "Nothing. I just can't believe all of it happened so easily, I expected it to be a challenge but it was a piece of cake" I replied. She chuckled and nodded. I opened the passenger seat, unbuckled Crystal and got her out of the car. Mia held Zoey, Olivia held Ashley, Diana held Sarah and Miley held Rose. I draped Crystal's arm around my neck and all of us started walking inside our house. Olivia walked up to the front door and placed her hand in the front pocket of her jeans. She struggled to get the key out of the pocket while balancing Ashley's weight at the same time. After a few seconds of struggle she got out the key and unlocked the door. She kicked it open and all of us got inside. I am glad nobody was on the street otherwise a scene would've created. We dragged all 5 of them towards the living room and dumped their bodies on the couch. "I can't believe we're so close" Miley said as we looked down at their unconscious bodies. "We're done here guys. Let's take the next step" I said looking at them. With that we walked out of the house, leaving them to their new future.

TYLER'S POV
All of us were stressed out of our minds because the girls weren't back yet. It's almost 12pm and they went for the walk around 8am in the morning. We tried calling them but none of them is picking up their phones. "guys we've gotta do something" Zayn said exhausted. All of us nodded. As we got up to go search for them we heard the door bell ring. Our first thought was that it was the girls and I rushed to open the front door. As I opened the door all the happiness vanished from my face. Instead of seeing the angelic face of my mate I saw the unlucky face of the person because of whom we fought and probably the reason why our mates aren't back yet. It was Leah and her friends. I was about to close the door but she stopped it by placing her arm on it. "what's the hurry love" she said with a seductive voice. With that she pushed the door open and all of them walked inside the house like they owned it. This just pissed us off even more than we already were. "what do you want!" I said with a stern voice. I wanted them to know that we were not in a mood of their bullshit. "well me and my friends just came over so you know, all of us could have some fun" she said with the same seductive voice, but this time she was completely leaning on me. I had never felt this disgusted in my life. The thought of another women touching me apart from Crystal disgusts me to death. I noticed that rest of her friends were leaning on my friends, trying to seduce them but I know that they were equally disgusted with all of this. Leah pressed herself harder against me and that was the last straw. I pushed her away and grabbed her throat pushing her down on the couch. I squeezed her throat a little tighter and her face was starting to turn purple due to lack of oxygen. "Tell us where our mates are!" I roared in my wolf voice. My wolf had taken control and my eyes turned red. I could feel my fangs emerging out as well. "as I predicted, all of you are alphas, like we always wanted" she said. Struggling while doing so. This just fuelled my anger and I choked her harder. She coughed vigorously, struggling for oxygen. "TELL US WHERE ARE OUR MATES OR I WILL RIP YOU TO SHREDS!" I roared, totally loosing control over myself. "whatever you do...they are already...gone" she whispered struggling. I looked at her, confused as to what she meant. My grip on her neck subconsciously loosened and I never expected what was coming next. Before I could do anything further, Leah grabbed the empty flower vase which was placed on the table beside the couch and smashed it on my head. I grunted in pain and fell on the couch beside her, holding my now bleeding head. She got off the couch, coughing vigorously, massaging her now purple neck. I turned my head to look at my friends to see they were already unconscious. I tried to get up but my body refused and soon I was engulfed in a deep hollow darkness.
