nineteen ☆ remember the rules

corbyn's pov:

i needed to talk to jonah about his feelings towards brooke, so i quickly headed to his room.

as i opened the door, i saw him and brooke talking to each other on his bed. they both jumped when they saw me.

"sorry for disturbing you guys, but i really need to talk to jonah," i declared.

brooke nodded her head, and headed to her own room. as she left, i closed the door and locked it.

"what do you need?" jonah asked.

"i need to talk to you about brooke," i whispered.

"dude, i thought we went over this," jonah groaned, leaning back.

"have you fallen for her more?" i asked.

"corbyn," jonah started, "of course i have. how could i not?"

"yes! i knew it!" i whisper-shouted.

would it be a good time to tell jonah that brooke feels the same way?

wait...

i can't tell jonah. i promised to brooke that i would keep it a secret. i would betray brooke if i told jonah.

"corbyn... you're making that weird face. what are you hiding?" jonah asked.

"um, nothing... nothing at all," i lied.

jonah shrugged.

"have you ever consider telling daniel?" i asked.

"you're funny. i would never tell daniel," jonah scoffed.

"why not?" i inquired.

"don't you remember the rules daniel made when brooke first moved in? daniel is super serious about nobody dating brooke, and i'm not trying to be killed by him," jonah explained, laughing at the end.

although, jonah is right. daniel would never late any of us date brooke.

a / n :

this chapter kinda sucked but i honestly have no motivation left to write this story. the only thing is that i planned out every chapter, so i still have a guide of where i'm going with this book. i'm trying to end it asap because i'm working on a bunch of other stories you guys should definitely check out :)

but i'm not going to discontinue this book. i'm going to finish it, it's just the fact i'm getting kind of bored writing it lol
