My eyes slowly opened as the sound of my sisters voice filled the air. Her voice shaky struggling not to break and fall apart. She ran her fingers through my hair as my head lay on her lap. I felt a relief run through me, for knowing my sister is okay. I laid still listening to every word in the song our mama would sing. My eyes tearing up as every painful memory flooded my consciousness. My body aching from the amount of power I had used only yesterday, but nothing aches more than my heart. My sister now hummed the smooth sad song, a tear rolled down my cheek hitting her leg, and she stopped humming.
"Lizzy? Are you awake?" She said in a shaky voice.
"Yes." I said quietly, not wanting to speak for fear of starting to cry. I sat up and looked her, she still wore her black dress and red jacket she had worn to battle. Her face full of dirt, but her eyes red and puffy, she had been crying. "I-" I started before having to take a deep breath. She stopped me and grabbed my hand squeezing it tightly. I looked in her head and saw her screaming and then red everywhere.

I closed my eyes leaving her head due to the pain it showed. I desperately tried to rid my thoughts of how I had felt in those moments how I had been. But the darkness and destruction I had caused due to the immense pain and anger was inescapable. My mind burned with darkness burned with my screams, it was stained in blood, and drenched in pain. My brothers face and lifeless eyes never once leaving my memory.
"I'm glad your awake Lizzy. Ultron is dead and- many people were saved." She said trying to smile, but failed as she too had to take a deep breath. "Pietro- he-"
"I know." I cut her off before she could finish her sentence. "I was there. I- saw it hap-pen" I said choking up, I looked up to her and saw her eyes filling with tears. "He's gone- and it's m-my fault Wanda. It's my fault." I said finally breaking down. She quickly pulled me into a tight hug, running her fingers through my hair again.
"It's not your fault Lizzy. I promise it's not your fault." She said, her voice sounding as if she was in the verge of breaking down.
"I didn't listen. I didn't stay on the carrier. He had to save me." I said still crying into her shoulder.
"Lizzy, he cared so much about you, he loved you, and he would be proud that you saved a little boy. Pietro w-would not be mad, he would not say it's your fault." She said choking up more and more she spoke.
"I want him to come back. I want him back Wanda, I- I miss him so much." I said, desperation in my voice. I heard her sniffle and then heard her start to cry.
"I know Lizzy. Me too. I miss him to. I want him back too." She said crying now.
We held each other for what seemed like lifetimes just crying, comforting each other with our presence because all we had now was each other, all the people we had ever loved were gone, Wanda was the last person I loved left, and I was hers.
