~1 month later~

"Okay Elizabeth, today you will meet Peter, face to face, so that when you start school next month you will already know each other." Tony said walking into the kitchen as I ate my cereal. "Happy will take you into Queens to a coffee shop, you all will meet there. Sound good?"
"Yeah sounds great, thank you." I replied looking up from my bowl and smiling at him. He smiled back and opened the fridge grabbing a bottle of water.
"Okay so when your done go get ready and you and Happy will head out." He said turning around and taking a sip from the bottle. "I think you will really like Peter, he's a nice kid, he would not stop asking about you. Poor happy got about fifty texts a day." I couldn't help but smile at what had been told to me, I was excited to finally meet him when we weren't fighting.
"Really?" I asked, I could feel my cheeks blush.
Tony smiled and nodded. "Yup, when I told him about you going to school with him he got really excited."
I looked back down to my cereal, as I stirred it around, I smiled to myself as I thought of Peter. I could not help but wonder what he was going to look like.
"Okay, so I will see you in a few hours. Have fun, and stay safe." Tony said before walking out of the kitchen.
After I finished my cereal I went to my bedroom and got dressed, I put on a red shirt and black jeans. I quickly brushed out my hair, and tied my shoes. Before leaving my room I opened my locket, I looked at Wanda and Pietro for a couple moments before closing it again and leaving the room.
I walked down the stairs to one of the main entrances, there Happy stood, looking annoyed like always.
"Hey Happy!" I said smiling as I slipped and jumped over the last step, and walked over to him.
"Hey, are you ready?" He said turning and giving me a smile, then proceeding to walk out the doors. We walked to the car and got in. "So have you met Peter?" He asked as we drove through the winding roads.
"I have but he had his mask on the whole time so I didn't see what he looked like, but he was really sweet." I said thinking back to him trying to help me. "What is he like?"
"Oh you know a teenage boy. He's a nice kid. Mr.Stark thinks you and him will get along so you two probably will. So how have you been lately?"
I waited for a moment thinking about what I should say, I could say that I was fine but that would be a lie, truthfully I cried myself to sleep most nights, and I had nightmares almost every night, I had put on a fake smile but maintaining it was exhausting. "I'm good," I said as I looked out the window. I need to maintain this lie, they have done so much for me I don't want to seem ungrateful. "I'm good." I said this time to myself, trying to convince myself of this lie.
"That's great, I'm happy for you." Happy said sounding generally happy.
We talked the rest of the drive about various things until we reached the coffee shop. We walked in. Happy and I looked around for a place to sit. There were only a few people inside so we had a fair share of seats to choose from. We decided to sit at the corner table in the back of the cafe since we were going to talk about confidential information.
We waited a couple minutes before a someone finally walked into the room. I looked up to see a boy around my age, with brown hair. He wore a plaid button up long sleeve shirt with a white t-shirt underneath. I couldn't help but stare at him, he was so good looking, so attractive.
"Peter over here!" Happy yelled getting his attention.
He turned and smiled at me, I felt my cheeks turn red. He walked over with the smile still on his face. He sat down in front of me. I had never seen someone look so good.
"Elizabeth meet Peter, peter meet Elizabeth." Happy said.
"H-hey, How are you?" He asked, while still maintaining the cute smile on his face.
"Oh I'm great, how are you?" I asked, trying to get rid of the butterflies in my stomach.
"I'm good! I was really excited to see you again." He said quickly, he seemed nervous just as I was.
"It's uh nice to meet you face to face, you know without the mask on." I said smiling at him, he let out a light laugh making my heart flutter.
"Yeah, and we're not fighting so that's great too.
"Okay, so let's go over what is going to happen, okay?" Happy said with an undertone of annoyance.
"Okay. Sounds good." Peter said turning his attention to happy, his eyes shifting to me every couple of seconds then looking back at happy.
"Okay so Elizabeth will be starting school with you in about a month, she will be a foreign exchange student, and her last name will not be Maximoff it will be Vornov. She will not know the Avengers personally, though she will still be from Sokovia." Happy said not stopping once.
"Can I tell my aunt may that she's in the Stark Internship, i uh kind of already told her a little bit about Elizabeth." Peter said giving a nervous smile. I couldn't help but smile at the thought of him talking about me. Happy rolled his eyes and sighed.
"Okay that's fine but don't be telling much else, okay?"
"Okay." Peter replied along with a nod.
"Elizabeth why don't you go to that bookstore across the street I need to talk to Peter okay?" Happy said turning to me.
"O-Okay. I'll uh be over there then." I said standing up, I was curious to know what they would talk about but I did not argue. I turned and looked back to see Peter watching me leave, once we made eye contact he quickly turned his eyes away, I turned back around smiling to myself.

Peter POV:
I mentally facepalmed myself for getting caught watching her leave. Once I turned around I noticed Happy staring at me, seriousness in his gaze.
"So uh, what's up?" I asked nervous for what was about to happen.
"Listen Elizabeth has been through a lot in the past few years and we're trying to give her a better life. You have a part in that, you have to be there for her, make sure she's okay. When she gets there she won't know anyone, except you so make sure you stay with her."
"Of course Mr.Happy, of course I actually like look forward to talking with her and hanging out, she was so cool back at the airport and she's just nice. It won't be a problem." I said.
"Okay good. Mr. Stark and I just want her to be happy, and we believe all this will do that for her."
"I will make sure she is happy, I won't leave her side all be there for her always." I said, promising him and Elizabeth though she would not know I promised it.
"Well let's go get her." Happy said standing up. I stood up as well and we began to walk outside. We walked across the street and went into the bookstore, i took in a deep breath taking in the smell of the old bookstore. Happy went down one of the isles looking for Elizabeth, I walked straight instead. I soon found her in the corner reading The Great Gatsby. I stopped and smiled as I watched her. She held onto her heart shaped necklace as she flipped through pages. She had already read about halfway through it, Mr. Stark has told me that she was intellectually enhanced as well so I was not surprised. Her eyes left the page and moved to mine. The sun hitting the brown in her eyes and making them warm pools of honey. A beautiful smile spread across her face. I suddenly got really nervous, and fiddled with my hands.
"Hey." She said, so smooth and sweet. Her accent lightly laced in the sound of her voice.
"H-hey." I said stuttering as I walked towards her. I slowly lowers myself next to her on the couch. She looked own at the book in her hands.
"Listen Peter I've been meaning to thank you for you know being so nice to me in Germany." She said, raising her eyes to look back at me, she gave me a light smile.
"There you are." Happy said, sounding annoyed. Elizabeth stood up and walked over to him. "Ready?"
"Yeah." She replied, she then turned to me and smiled. "I'll see you soon. Bye Peter."
"Bye Elizabeth." I said. She smiled and turned around and walked out of the bookstore. I sat back down on the couch and smiled at thought of spending more time with her. I turned to see the book she had been reading beside me, and picked it up and walked to the cash register. Once I payed for it I walked to my bike and rode home, with the book in my hand, a smile on my face, and one person on my mind.
