Elizabeth POV:
When we arrived home my body ached and I was exhausted. On our way home I could tell Tony was tense, I was worried he was angry with me or with Peter. As we walked inside Tony sighed.
"What happened tonight?" He said calmly though I could hear some anger in his voice.
"Peter fought the bad guy and I helped a little bit." I said quickly, Tong sighed and shook his head.
"You used your abilities in public, someone could've seen you," He said raising his voice a little.
"Look I'm sorry okay, but I don't regret helping Peter." I said before he could continue speaking, I then turned and began to walk towards my bedroom.
"Elizabeth," Tony said as I walked up the stairs to my bedroom, his voice was calmer, I turned around, he was standing at the bottom of the staircase, "look I'm not going to give you a big lecture about what happened tonight but I want you to understand how dangerous that was,"
"I've been in a battle before, I've gone on multiple missions, and I've trained countless of hours," I raised my voice as I spoke, but I paused for a moment before continuing, I lowered my voice and spoke softer, "I'm not a child, and I haven't been for a while; I know you want me to have a normal life and i appreciate it but that opportunity was taken from me years ago." I sighed and walked down the stairs towards Tony. "I just want to use what was given to me, and I want to use it to do good. Can you let me do that?"
I was now standing in front of Tony as he thought for a moment. "Okay,"
I smiled and hugged him and he wrapped his arms around me. "Just promise me you'll be more careful."
"I promise." I paused, "Thank you, for everything."
"Of course kiddo." he said as we parted. "You should get to bed, I'm sure you're exhausted."
I smiled and then walked up the stairs and to my room. I looked in the mirror and saw my torn dress and dirt all over me. I took off my dress and then took a long shower. My body was soar and I had bruises on my back, I climbed into bed feeling a wave of exhaustion hit me and I fell asleep.
