Elizabeth POV:

I lay on the floor of the ship, the pain in my head keeping me from moving. I wanted to scream but I was unable to open my mouth to make a sound, instead, tears rolled down my cheeks and my body shook as the sharp pain in my head worsened.

"In all the time I've served Thanos I have never failed him. If I were to reach our rendezvous on Titan with the Time stone still attached to your vaguely irritating person there would be judgment." I heard Ebony Maw say as he walked towards the wizard. "Give me," I squeezed my eyes shut as the long needle went into his cheek, "the stone."

Peter POV:

I crawled quietly inside the ship, I could see Mr. Stark looking down.

"Wow, you're a seriously loyal piece of outerwear, aren't you?" Mr. Stark said to the floating cape.

"Yeah, uh, speaking of loyalty.." I said as I jumped down.

"What the..." Mr. Stark said with confusion and annoyance on his face.

"I know what you're gonna say," I said as the suit moved to show my face.

"You should not be here," he said with wide eyes.

"I was gonna go home."

"I don't wanna hear it."

"But it was such a long way down and I just thought about you on the way,"

"And now I gotta hear it." He said with annoyance.

"and kinda stuck to the side of the ship," I said continuing my excuses. "And this suit is ridiculously intuitive, by the way."

"God damn it."

"So, if anything, it's kinda your fault that I'm here," I said.

Mr. Stark turned, "What did you just say?"

"I take that back. And now, I'm here in space."

He stepped towards me, "yeah, right where I didn't want you to be. This isn't Coney Island. This isn't a field trip. This is a one-way ticket." I sighed, understanding the weight of the situation, "You hear me? Don't pretend you thought this through."

"No, I did think this through."

"You could not have possibly thought this through."

"You can't be friendly neighborhood Spider-man if there is no neighborhood." I said earning a confused look from Mr. Stark. "Okay, that didn't really make sense, but you know what I'm trying to say." I paused, "I couldn't just leave her, Mr. Stark. Please, I just want to help." His face softened and he sighed.

"Come on. We got a situation." We walked to the ledge looking over the ship I kneeled down, "See him down there? He's in trouble. Whats your plan? Go." I could see the wizard, floating, surrounded by long needle-like objects, as the tall grey man spoke to him. I looked around unable to see Lizzy, my heart raced as I grew worried.

"Um... okay, okay, uh.." I stood up, "Okay. Did you ever see this really old movie, Aliens?"

The wizard let out a yell, "Painful, aren't they? They were originally designed for microsurgery. And any one of them..." The man paused, turning to face Mr. Stark who aimed at him, "could end your friend's life in an instant."

"I gotta tell you, he's not really my friend. Saving his life is more of a professional courtesy." Mr. Stark said.

The man smiled mischievously, raising his hand, "What about the girl?" I looked behind him, my heart dropped to the pit of stomach, I saw Lizzy floating out from the darkness, tears running down her cheeks, "Is saving her life a courtesy?" Mr. Stark was silent, and with a satisfied smile the grey man walked towards him, large metal objects floating behind him, "You've saved nothing. Your powers are inconsequential compared to mine."
