Peter POV:

I sat looking out over the ferry, my mind running with a million thoughts.
"Previously on Peter screws the pooch! I tell you to stay away from this instead you hacked a multi million dollar suit so you could sneak around my back, doing the one thing I told you not to do." Tony said anger in his voice, I didn't turn to look at him, i stayed staring down at the ferry.
"Is everyone okay? Lizzy is she okay?"
"No thanks to you." he replied, I shut my eyes for a moment as his reply stung, I then began to feel angry, I turned around looking at him now.
"No thanks to me?" I got up walking closer to him, feeling beyond frustrated. "Those weapons are out there and I tried to tell you about it, but you didn't listen, none of this would've happened if you would just listen to me!" He began to lower down towards me, "If you even cared you would actually be here." Just then his suit opened revealing Tony, his face full of anger, I stepped back startled now.
"I did listen kid, who do you think called the FBI? Did you know that I was the only one who believed in you, everyone else said I was crazy to recruit a fourteen year old kid-"
"I'm fifteen-"
"No this is wear you zip it! Alright, the adult is talking. What if somebody had died tonight? What if Elizabeth had gotten hurt? Different story right, cause that's on you, and if you had died I feel like that's on me. I don't need that on my conscience."
"Yes sir, I'm sorry."
"Sorry doesn't cut it. I trusted you to help me give Elizabeth a normal life, and you couldn't do that, you pulled her into this. I don't think you understand how angry I am about this, if anyone were to find out who she was she would be taken away, she already lost her brother and sister, then half of the team, I won't let you put more on top of that. You put her in danger and I- I can't overlook that." I stood speechless hearing what he had said, guilt immediately washed over me and I realized how bad the situation actually was.
"I understand, I'm sorry, I just wanted to be like you." I said desperation in my voice.
"And I wanted you to be better." He spoke solemnly, I turned away, holding tears back. "Okay it's not working out I'm gonna need the suit back."
"For how long?"
"Forever."
"No no no, please, you don't understand this is all I have, I'm nothing without this suit."
"If you're nothing without this suit then you shouldn't have it. God i sound like my dad."
"I don't have anything to wear." I said.
"Okay we'll sort that out." Tony began to turn around, before looking back at me. "I don't want you to hang around Elizabeth anymore."
My heart sank, hearing his words.
"No, please don't do this, you can't, Mr. Stark please." I begged feeling desperate as to not lose her.
"I can't trust you to keep her safe, I don't want you to put her in any more danger."

Elizabeth POV:

I now climbed up the stairs of the tower, making my way to talk to Peter. I had spent what seemed like hours talking to FBI agents, and police about the incident.
I now finally reached the top and opened the door, just as Tony flew off, Peter stood motionless, looking defeated.
"Peter?" I said softly walking closer to him, he looked at me. "What happened?" He looked away, not saying anything. I walked closer placing my hand on his, squeezing them lightly. He squeezed his eyes shut for a moment looking back at me now, tears in his eyes, he then moved his hands from mine turning away from me.

"Lizzy," he said still facing away from me, his voice weak

"Lizzy," he said still facing away from me, his voice weak. "I don't think we should be spending time with each other anymore."
"What?" I asked, stepping closer to him, not understanding what was going on.
"We shouldn't hang out anymore." He said turning to me now.
"Peter?" I asked stepping towards him, I placed my hands on his once again, he looked down at them and held them, he closed his eyes and shook his head pulling hands away from mine abruptly.
"Lizzy, just stay away from me!" Peter said angrily. I stepped back startled by his outburst, my eyes began to well up with tears.
"What's happening?" I asked, my voice shaky and weak.
"It's for the best, alright?"
My eyes were wide and my mouth gaping, they felt numb with shock, my lips shook as I held back tears.
"Why are you doing this Peter?"
"Lizzy, don't make this harder then it needs to be."
His words stung and my heart burned.

Peter POV:

A tear rolled down her cheek as she looked at me, her eyes filled with hurt. My heart sank looking at her, I knew I had to get her to stay away from me, to keep her safe, but I was only hurting her.
"Lizzy I-"
"No! Don't call me that, don't you dare call me that." her eyes now burning with anger, I stepped back silently, regret and guilt weighing down on me.
"I'm sorry." I spoke quietly.
"Just, you're right, it's best if we don't hang out anymore." Her voice was shaky and weak and more tears filled her eyes. I looked away from her not able to see that I had really hurt her.
Just then Tony come back with clothes for me. I then changed out of my suit and into the clothes he handed me, I handed them to him, and Elizabeth avoided eye contact, I sighed my heart hurting.
"Come on Elizabeth lets go home." Elizabeth nodded and he grabbed onto her, he now looked at me for a moment, "Goodbye kid."
Tony and Elizabeth then flew off and I stood still and silent, utterly defeated.
