Peter POV:

It was quiet. There was only the sound of a soft breeze and a sense of calm that left me with an eerie feeling. I could hear Lizzy's soft breath as her eyes shifted examining our surroundings.

Suddenly I felt the hair on my arms go up and I was overwhelmed with anxiety.

He's here.

Then there was a cloud of bluish smoke that opened to reveal a large purple man, he was far bigger than I had imagined, I could not ignore my overwhelming sense of dread as he stepped forward onto the orange sand, the portal closing and disappearing behind him.

Thanos seemed to take in his surroundings, staring at the ship we had crashed when we arrived, he looked down, he knew something was off.

"Oh, yeah." Strange's voice cut through the intense silence. Thanos looked up, his face unmoving. "You're much more of a Thanos." Strange sat, maintaining his composure as he spoke.

"I take it the Maw is dead," Thanos spoke, his voice was deep. Strange nodded, almost apologetically, "This day extracts a heavy toll." he walked forward, "Still, he accomplished his mission."

"You may regret that. He brought you face-to-face with the master of the Mystic Arts."

"And where do you think he brought you?" Thanos asked now within one hundred feet of Strange. Lizzy and I moved closer to the edge of the rubble above Strange where we're hiding.

"Let me guess. You're home?"

Thanos stopped, propping his leg on a small pile of rubble, he smiled, "It was." He lifted his arm up, I could see his gauntlet now, there were six depressions, four of which contained small stones, a blue, red, orange, and purple one. The red one lit up, causing a strip of red glowing dust to move across the world around us, transforming the world into a nice city. I looked around in awe, it looked do real. "And it was beautiful. Titan was like most planets. Too many mouths, not enough to go around. And when we faced extinction, I offered a solution."

"Genocide," Strange said.

"But random, dispassionate, fair too rich and poor alike. They called me a madman. And what I predicted came to pass."

The red strip moved across the world again, changing it back to what it was now.

"Congratulations, you're a prophet."

"I'm a survivor."

"Who wants to murder trillions."

"With all six stones, I could simply snap my fingers." He snapped once as he spoke. "They would all cease to exist. I call that mercy."

Doctor Strange stood up, stepping towards Thanos now, "And then what?"

"I'd finally rest... and watch the sunrise on a grateful universe." he paused, "The hardest choices require the strongest wills." He looked down as he spoke as if acknowledging and accepting the difficult choices he had made.

"I think you'll find our will equal to yours." Strange moved his arms making sparkly gold circles around his hands.

Thanos looked up at Strange now, "Our?"

As planned, Mr. Stark pushed down a large rock on top of Thanos. "Piece of cake, Quill." Mr. Stark flew down as Starlord stood up.

"Yeah, if your goal was to piss him off." Starlord ran, now flying in the air.

The large rock on top of Thanos was now bright purple and exploded into the air and floated, Thanos yelled and the purple stone on his gauntlet lit up, then the red. The floating rubble changed into what looked like a flock of bird-like things, they chased after Mr. Stark now. I moved now, shooting webs that covered his eyes. I swung past him kicking him as I did. Drax then ran towards him hitting his legs with his knives. Doctor Strange then stepped out of a portal, helping Drax in their attack.
