Peter POV:

"So what's the plan?" May said as we pulled up Liz's house.
"Open the door for her, tell her she looks nice but not too much cause that's creepy, and when I dance with her I put my hands on her hips." May nodded giving me a smile.
"You got this." I nodded giving her a quick smile.
"May, what if I see Elizabeth?"
"Peter I know everything will work out, don't worry about okay? Just try to have fun tonight." I nodded and she smiled. "Alright go!"
I then stepped out of the car and walked up to Liz's door and rang to door bell. I smiled as the door began to open only for my smile disappear and heart to stop. At the door stood the guy on the guy I had been tracking, the Vulture, a genuine smile on his face as I stood motionless, unable to speak. My only thought was to tell Elizabeth but I couldn't.
"You must be Peter," He said, his voice just like the day on the Ferry.
"Yeah," I uttered softly unable to say anything.
"I'm Liz's dad," He said reaching out his hand, as we shook hands I began to think of what to do but no thoughts came to mind. "Hell of a grip!" He said as I realized I was squeezing his hand. "Come on in, come on!" He said he moved me inside.
I walked slowly down the hall as he walked ahead of me, my heart was pumping and i gripped the corsage tightly in my hands.
"Hey Peter!" Liz's mom said coming from one of the hallways, "You look handsome!" She giving me a smile.
"Thank you," I said quietly.
She then walked over Liz's dad who was in the kitchen cleaning dishes, she spoke in a low tone, "You got his name right?"
"Freddy?" He said, as she shook her head laughed quietly.
"Peter!" She whispered causing him to laugh too. She then walked towards me with a smile, "I'm gonna go get Liz." I nodded and looked back, and stared at Liz's father, my mind running a mile a minute.
"You alright Pete?" He asked with a confused look. "Cause you look," he waved a knife around as he spoke, "pale." I didn't say anything. "You want something to drink like a Bourbon or like a scotch or something like that?"
"I'm not old enough to drink." I said finally able to get a sentence out.
"That's the right answer," He said with a smile. He then looked past me and his eyes widened. "Wow!"
I turned to see Liz walking towards me with a smile.
"Wow, wow, wow, wow, you look beautiful!" He kept saying.
"Please don't embarrass me dad." She said with a nervous laugh.
"Doesn't she Pete?" He said looking at me now. I turned back to her again but I couldn't focus on how she looked.
"Yeah you look really uh-" I looked back at him and smiled at me.
"Once again, that's the right answer."
My heart pounded harder I was sure he could hear it from where he stood.
"My corsage?" Liz said looking down at the plastic container I was holding. I handed it to her without looking away from him. "Thanks."
"Well hey I'm your chauffeur, so uh let's get this show on the road." He said putting the dish towel down.
"No, no, no, no, no, we have to take some pictures real quick." Her mom said grabbing a camera. I stared at him as he stood and watched her take pictures, I couldn't smile and I couldn't think,  and I just kept looking back at him.
"Sir you don't have to drive us," I said as we started walking towards the front door.
"It's no big deal, I'm going out of town and it's right on my way," he said putting his jacket on.
"He's always coming and going," Liz's mom said giving Liz a hug and then Mr. Allan.
"Come on Pedro!" He said ushering me out the door and to the car where I reluctantly got in.

Elizabeth POV:

Getting ready didn't take long, I quickly curled my hair and put makeup on, I then put on my dress. When I looked in the mirror I couldn't help but smile, I had never worn anything like this in my whole life. I twirled and laughed to myself and then slid on my heels.
