Maya zipped up her backpack and threw it over her shoulder as she was getting ready to leave for the week. It was finally Thanksgiving break and everyone was more than ready to leave college and go back home. Maya was one of those people, she couldn't wait to get away from all the drama that had been going on since she started college.

Riley had already left for the week with Lucas to go to Texas. It was going to be a little weird not having Riley by her side this thanksgiving, but she didnt sweat over it too much; The Matthews were her family even if Riley wasn't there.

"Come in!" Maya shouted from inside as she heard a knock on her door. Farkle popped his head inside the door and smiled as he made his way inside the room and over to where Maya was. "What's up?" She asked him. Farkle smiled as he took a seat on her bed.

"Everyone else is gone. Riley, Lucas, and Zay all three left for Texas, and Simon caught an early flight this morning to go home. So it looks like its just me and you!" He exclaimed smiling. Maya smiled. Het and Farkle haven't had time to spend together in a while. She was happy that she would be able to spend the holidays with him as his family was spending it with hers and the Matthews.

"At least we'll have each other!" Maya said causing Farkle to nod his head. Suddenly Josh came into the room but stopped in his tracks once he saw that Farkle was in her room.

"Oh, hey guys. I was just wanting to see Riley before she left." He lied straight through his teeth once he caught the shocked look from Maya's face as she looked over at Farkle who was smiling at Josh.

"She already left this morning." Maya said. Maya knew that Riley had gone to see Josh this morning, all she could do was try and keep the lie going and make it look convincible to Farkle.

"Oh, well sorry for barging in like this. Do either of you need a ride to Cory and Topanga's today?" He asked in hopes that maybe Farkle already had a way to get there.

"No thanks, we're going to take the subway and ride in together." Farkle said causing Maya to chuckle as she noticed the deadpanned look that overtook Josh's face.

"Cool. I'll see you guys there then." He said before looking at Maya one more time and then walking out. Maya let out a breath of relief before doing a double check to make sure she had everything. After having all her bags in her hand she turned around and stopped when she saw Farkle standing really close to her and smiling.

"Well hello." She joked, Farkle just smirked as he took a couple of her bags out of hand.

"So how long have you two been together?"

Maya froze and her eyes widened as she looked at Farkle shocked.

"W-what?" She stuttered completely off guard. Farkle just smirked.

"You and Josh, how long have you two been sneaking around?" He asked her. Maya suddenly shook out of her trance and shook her head.

"I dont know what you're talking about." She said as she tried to make it over Farkle but he wouldn't let her pass.

"Please, Maya. You two are the worst liars I've ever seen, besides I know Riley would have never left without saying goodbye to him first. He came to see you." Farkle told her. Maya shook her head.

"That doesnt mean we're together." Maya scolded him. Farkle just kept smirking at her as she tried to avoid his eyes. Finally Maya sighed in defeat and hung her head low. "Did Simon say anything?" She asked. Suddenly the smirk on Farkle's face was gone.

"You told Simon and not me!?" He yelled causing Maya to place a hand over his mouth.

"He just figured it out! Kind of like you just did." Maya stated as she took her hand off of his mouth. Farkle had a frown on his face.

"Why are you keeping this a secret?" Farkle asked her. Maya shrugged her shoulders.

"I dont know, we're not even official really." Maya said causing Farkle to raise his eyebrows.

"I dont understand." He said causing Maya to sit down on her bed and pat the spot beside her. Farkle sat down on her bed and turned his attention towards her.

"Josh and I aren't technically together, I dont know its complicated. We're just kind of hanging out and being together without having to worry about other people. Besides, he's not even sure what he's going to do after college yet." Maya told him. Farkle shook his head.

"Maya, if not making thins official with Josh is your way of keeping your heart guarded, then you're not doing a very good job. You and Josh are pretty much a couple just without the label, if he decides to go off somewhere after college and you both dont really talk about it because you were never official, its just going to cause you both more pain when he does leave." Farkle told her honestly. Maya bit her lip.

"Yeah but, Josh and I are going to talk about it. He wants to discuss the pros and cons of him leaving or staying." Maya told him. Farkle shook his head.

"Either your dating or your not, Maya. Either way Josh has already made his decision." Farkle answered. Maya looked at him in confusion.

"What do you mean?" She asked. Farkle smiled

"As long as you and him are doing whatever it is that you're doing, he's going to choose you over his career any day of the week." Farkle said. Maya shook her head.

"No, Josh will do whats best for him in the end." Maya said as she got up from the bed to re grab her stuff.

"Yeah, and to him that's you." Farkle answered. "Maya, he loves you. Josh would never ask you to drop out of school to go be with him and he would never want to be away from you for three years." Maya took in what Farkle was saying and felt her heart drop. She didnt want Josh to give up everything he had ever worked for just to be with her. And she wouldn't even allow them to be together, that's no way to treat him. "Maya!" Farkle called snapping her out of her trance. "You ready?" He asked. Maya nodded her head.

"Yeah, lets go."
