Hey guys! In case you didn't know I have another Joshaya story out. It's a book of one shots that I actually started before I started this book! Go check it out in case you haven't already! Here's chapter four!

"Welcome ladies!" Zay exclaimed as he opened the door to his and Lucas's dorm room that was already decorated. Riley and Maya walked into the room and smiled.

"How did you guys do this so early?" Riley asked amazed at the room.

"We decided to get here early this morning." Lucas said as he came up to Riley and pecked her lips.

"Well you guys sure did outdo yourselves. Feel like helping us with ours?" Maya asked as she flopped down on one of the beds that was obviously Zay's by the superhero bed spread that was on it.

"Sure. We charge twenty bucks an hour." Zay said jokingly as he flopped down beside Maya putting his arm around her.

"Nice bed spread, Zay." Riley smirked as her and Lucas sat down beside Farkle on the futon they had in the corner. Zay smirked.

"What can I say? Girls dig it." He said as they all laughed.

"How's Smackle  doing with Harvard?" Maya asked Farkle as he looked up at her.

"She's doing ok. She's been there only a week and is already top of her class." Farkle said smiling with pride.

"Sorry you had to have a different roommate, Farkle." Riley said looking over at Farkle.

"He's not to bad." Farkle shrugged.

"You've met him already?" Maya asked as her and Zay linked their hands together while he still had it around Maya.

"Yeah. He's a really great guy, not a scientist but that just means I have another person I can make feel stupid." Farkle joked as everybody laughed. "Actually I want to introduce you to him, Maya." Farkle said as everybody looked over at Maya.

"Why me?" Maya asked giving Farkle a confused look.

"Because he likes a lot of the same things you like. He kind of reminds me of you too. I think you two would really like each other." Farkle said.

"That's a great idea Farkle! Maya, it could be a great distraction from uncle Josh!" Riley exclaimed excitedly. Maya gave her a look.

"Josh. You mean you have already run into him?" Zay said looking over at Maya.

After Zay and Maya made that deal back when Riley couldn't find her bear, they started to become very close. Zay became more protective over Maya than even Lucas and Farkle. Especially when it came to Josh. Zay was the person that Maya cried to when Josh broke their someday deal for be with Adrianna. He was also the person she talked to when he proposed and made it clear to Maya that their someday was no longer a thing.

"We bumped into him at Starbucks, literally." Maya said as she looked everywhere but Zay. Zay shook his head looking down angrily and squeezed Maya's hand.

"As much as I hate to say it, we're gonna have to get use to seeing him around. Only for this year at least." Lucas said. Maya sighed.

"What are you going to do?" Farkle asked curiously at Maya.

"Look he made it clear that our  someday promise was just a huge joke. So I figured that I would try to avoid him a much as possible and only talk to him when I have to. It's time that I move on." Maya said as she stared at the ground then looked back up to see her friends all sharing looks with each other. "What?" She asked confused.

"Except you don't want to do that." Zay said. Maya looked at him like he was crazy.

"What?" She asked.

"Maya you don't want to get over Josh. We see it in your eyes when you talk about him. You love him." Zay said. Maya shook her head.

"Well what do you guys want from me? He's getting married it's not like I can go up to him and say "hey Josh! I'm in love with you and I want us to be together! So forget about your fiancé who your about to get married to in less than a year and go out with me!" Is that what you guys would like me to do?" Maya asked sarcastically. Everyone looked at her and just stared. "No! You guys actually want me to do that?" Maya asked in disbelief.

"Maya all we're saying is that we don't want you to look back on yours and Josh's relationship ten years from now and have regrets. Take the opportunity that life gives you and speak now before it's to late." Zay said dropping his arm off her shoulders so she could turn to look at him better.

"What makes you so sure that he would break up with her and go out with me just because I asked him to?" Maya asked. Zay shook his head.

"I'm not. But at least ten years from now you can tell yourself that you did everything you could and in the end it was him who made the call to not give you two a try." Zay said as everyone in the room looked at him shocked. "What!? I can be deep." Zay said offended of their reactions.

"As much as I think we're all shocked to admit." Farkle laughed. "Zay's right, Maya. One of you needs to come out and say how you feel and if he doesn't then you do." Maya looked at them and sighed. As much as she hated to admit it, she knew they were right.

Josh threw down his wallet and and laid his drink down on his dresser when he came back into his room. His phone started ringing and he answered it without looking at who it was noticing that Andrew wasn't in the room anymore.

"Hello?" He asked as he laid down on his bed.

"Hey, baby! How's your first day back going?" Adrianna's voice came through on the other line bringing an immediate smile on Josh's face.

"Hey, yeah it's going great." He said as he looked at her picture on the dresser.

"I'm so glad! I already miss you, can not wait for the weekend." Josh smiled at the thought of seeing her again. A guy's voice could be heard in the background on Adrianna's line making Josh's eyebrows furrow in confusion.

"Who's that?" He asked as he could here muffled talk between the two of them.

"Hmm? Oh that's just max. You know my cousin from Alabama I was telling you about last week?" Adrianna said. Josh smiled as he remembered the conversation that they had when he was packing. "So have you run into your niece yet?" Adrianna asked making Josh's smile turn into a frown. He started thinking back on Maya and their conversation. "Josh?" Adrianna asked making Josh come back to reality.

"Yeah um I ran into her and Maya a few minutes ago." Josh said.

"Maya? Isn't that the girl that had that huge crush on you? The girl that your brother said you use to like?"

"Yeah but, that was a long time ago. Nothing happened she was way to young.

"And now?"

"Now I only have eyes for you." Josh said smiling at the jealousy in her voice.

"Good answer. I got to go babe, I love you!" Adrianna said.

"I love you too." Josh hung up the phone and smiled as he thought about Adrianna. Then thoughts of Maya clouded his mind as he once again thought about their conversation. And for the rest of the night Maya was the only thing on his mind.
