So... Out of curiosity, who here is a Harry Potter fan and a Hinny shipper? Because I might be interested in doing something in the future story wise.

As midnight grew closer and closer, Maya kept looking at her phone with narrowed eyebrows. Curfew was at ten, and with Riley gone before that Josh should have been here by now. She thought about texting him and seeing if something had come up, but she didnt want to seem too desperate for his company. She tapped her foot on the carpeted dorm floor as she ignored the texts from Riley checking up on her. She rolled her eyes at her best friend. She was the only girl she knew that would be spending the night with her boyfriend and yet worry about her friend.
As twelve thirty rolled around, then one, and eventually one thirty, Maya knew that Josh wouldn't be coming tonight. She was confused, angry, and a little concerned by this. Is this really because she wouldn't go to his room tonight? That's a little immature in her opinion. She was sure that nothing bad had happened because she would have heard from him or Riley at some point. So, deciding that she wasn't going to wait around all night, Maya eventually turned off her lamp and fell asleep.
The next morning was a little bit of a blur for her. She was jerked awake by Riley who was blabbing on about how they had to leave and was going to miss the subway back to their home. Wondering why they had to take the subway as Maya looked over at the clock and read that it was almost ten in the morning. She must have really crashed last night.
Maya quickly grabbed her phone to see if Josh had tried in any way to contact her, still nothing. Shr sighed as he put her phone back on her bedside table and closed her eyes again.
"Maya!" Riley yelled. Maya jerked her head back up to see Riley staring at her in concern. "Are you even listening to me?" She asked. Maya took a deep breath as she sat up in bed and rubbed her eyes.
"Why do we have to take the subway?" Maya asked in her raspy morning voice.
"Because Lucas wanted to stop by his house and say goodbye to his family before they left for Texas, and Josh said that he had something he had to do. I dont know, but he didnt seem to be in the best mood." Riley said looking thoughtful. Maya wanted to almost laugh at this.
"We need cars." She told Riley. "I dont like the fact that we're constantly having to rely on the boys to get around to where we need to go." She told Riley honestly.
"Then get a job." Riley told her sarcastically. Maya rolled her eyes and stuck her tongue out at Riley. She pulled her bedcovers off and started getting dressed. Riley kept her gaze on Maya as she watched her walk around the room. "You look like you're doing better." Riley told her.
"What do you mean?" Maya asked not really paying attention as she stuffed her charger and earplugs in her bag. Riley narrowed her eyebrows at her.
"Your stomach and head? You seem to be feeling better." She told her. Maya widened her eyes as she realized what she was saying.
"Oh yeah, I took some medicine and went straight to bed. Must have been a twenty-four hour thing." She shrugged it off, but Riley kept her intense stare right on her.
"Do you want to tell me something, Maya?" She asked. Maya didnt meet her eyes as she finished zipping up her bag.
"If I did, you'd be the first to know." She told her, glancing up at her for a second before looking back down. Riley still wasn't convinced but decided on staying quiet.

"Welcome home!" Everyone greeted Riley and Maya with hugs as they entered the Matthews home.
"It's like they haven't seen us all year!" Maya said sarcastically. Everyone laughed and rolled their eyes.
"We miss you two!" Cory exclaimed smiling.
"The house feels empty without you." Katy said as she leaned into Shawn.
"Where's Josh?" Auggie asked as he looked around disappointed.
"I'm not sure. He said he had something he needed to do and left early this morning. Asked if Maya and I could get a ride on the subway." Riley told him.
"I'm sure he'll be here later." Cory told his son before ruffling his hair and walking into the kitchen. Topanga and Katy shared a smile as Riley and Maya grabbed their bags and started bringing them to Riley's old room.
As they got settled in and caught up with the family, they were soon interrupted by Farkle buzzing in. Riley was eager to open the door and greet her friend into their home.
"Couldn't stay away from your favorite teacher, huh?" Cory asked. Farkle chuckled and looked over at Maya.
"I need to talk to you." He told her. Riley and Maya were the only one's who could hear.
"Cant it wait?" Maya asked him as she motioned back to her family who were all sitting at the kitchen table. Farkle simply shook his head which caused her to become concerned. Riley sighed as she watched her two closest friends walk out into the hallway and leave her behind.
"What is it?" Maya asked as she closed the door behind her and leaned against the wall beside it. Farkle looked troubled, like he was having to deliver the worst news ever.
"Maya, did something happen with you and Josh last night?" Farkle asked her as he shoved his hands into his pockets. Maya rolled her eyes at the question.
"Actually quite the opposite, he never showed up." Maya said irritbly. Farkle had his head lowered but his eyes were set right on Maya before he lowered them completly. His posture had seemed to stiffen.
"Did he call or text you at all?" He asked again. Maya narowed her eyes at this question.
"No? But why would that matter?" She asked him. Farkle closed his eyes and took a breath. He never thought this was something he would have to say to Maya, not about Josh.
"I went to go meet my parents at a diner for breakfast this morning, just a couple of minutes away from campus. Josh was there, and he wasnt alone. He was with Adrianna."
Maya dropped her arms from her chest. Farkle looked back up at her, and by the look on his face she knew this wasnt a joke. Not that Farkle would ever do that to her.
"Oh." Was all she seemed to be able to say. Her thoughts were running a million miles perhour. She averted her eyes to the floor not missing the pained expression on Farkle's face.
"I wish I could say it meant nothing, Maya. But I saw Josh hug and kiss her forehead. I'm so sorry." He told her. Maya could feel tears brim her eyelids, but she sniffled and wiped them away with her sleeve. Now was not the time for her to break down.
In one short stride, Farkle was pulling her into his arms and Maya was burring her head in his chest. Her hands clutched onto the front of his jacket while he buried one of his in her hair and the other one around her back. Maya didn't cry, but she did take in the comfort that her best friend was offering at the moment, knowing that in the long run she would need it.
"Maya?" Riley's concerned voice came from the opening of the door. Farkle looked over at Riley and hesitantly let go of Maya so she could turn towards Riley, sniffling. Riley became more concerned as she saw the red around her eyes. She looked up at Farkle for any kind of answer or hint to what was going on, which he just replied by shaking his head. His jaw locked, and his eyes holding an intense look to them. It was the look that he gave when he was holding in anger.
With one look, Maya knew that it was no good in keeping her secret relationship with Josh a secret, considering after she got done talking to him, there was no more relationship.
