Depressed Reader x Scout: life saver (Part 2)

that friday....

you look at the base, it was well swept and cleaned from top to bottom, "HUDAAH!!" you hear pyro from the end of the hall way as he wipes his forehead and gave a thumbs up to scout. your eyes gazed at the Bostonian as he was wearing a tux he borrowed from Spy, surprisingly he had one that fit...

lost in thought you didn't notice scout looking at you, once you did he waved at you. feeling the guilt for slapping him the other day you turned around and speed walked back to your room.

closing the door shut you run to your bed. "why is she so lucky..." you thought as you hugged your pillow. soon you tears started falling,

you look out from your window as you see miss Pauling and scout get off a motorcycle, you sighed and looked at miss Pauling in envy, you grip the bottle of pills in your hand the image of the two entering the base blurring out. you hear nothing but silence...

you could only see darkness and the bottle of pills in your hand. twisting the bottle open you shake the pills inside slightly. "without you...i feel empty..." as you slowly put the lid of the bottle against your lips. you where brought back to reality when you heard a loud knock.

you accidentally drop the pills causing it to fall on the floor and its contents scatter. the door slowly opened. you quickly try to scoop up as many pills as you could back into the bottle.

"hey..(y/n)-" you froze as you heard scouts voice from the door "what...are you doing..".

"..." you continue putting the pills back in the bottle "(y/n) why are you ignoring me..."

"..."

"(y/n)" your body began to shake as you felt scouts hand on your shoulder. "Please...just talk to me..." he spins you around seeing the bottle of pills, you push him away "i hate you!!" 

he looked hurt "you dont realize how much i love you you dont realize how much i put into my efforts just for you to notice my affection!!!" he tried to speak but you cut him off "all you care about is miss Pauling..."

everyone must have heard as they were all by the door. you started sobbing "(y-y/n) that's not true wh-what are you saying?!" scout tries to pull you into and embrace but you push him back.

"(y/n) i do love you! Dont listen to your demon's...You got this all wrong!!...i asked miss Pauling to get me a ride out of town to get a special necklace...i came in your room to ask which one you wanted....i asked everyone to clean the base for you...we prepared an entire part for you!"

you covered your ears and continued sobbing. "Dont ever think i dont!!" he gets on his knees and hugs you tightly. you start to give in and hug back.

it was already a few days after the incident "have ya taken your AD's" scout asks as he watches you fondle with the (F/A) necklace scout had given you. "yeah..sorry about...not taking my Medication...im sorry that i misunderstood the situation.." scout chuckles and cuts your cheeks and gave you a kiss "its nothin Babe just take your anti-depressant stuff till medic says you can stop" you giggle and kissed his cheek.
